”Welcome, one and all, to the Jurassic World Fazbear Mechanics Learning Experience! Once your registration has been made, please wait for an attendant to lead you to your assigned lab, and begin the fun!”

The echoing voice of the HandUnit reached no human ears.

In an exciting collaboration for many, the genetics and entertainment company InGen had joined forces with the iconic Fazbear Entertainment to create a venue in Jurassic World to encourage a love of mechanical science in children of all ages. The two had gone all out for the promotion, to the point of having a large drawing on the wall of the new building of Mr. DNA and Freddy Fazbear shaking hands in a symbol of corporate partnership!

Many of Fazbear Entertainment’s assets from the mainland had been transported to Isla Nublar, ranging from mechanical parts for the building lessons that would be had at the attraction, to some complete, untainted animatronics to perform as they would at any Fazbear location. They had spared no expense.

During the day, this place, like anywhere else on the island, was a place of joy.

Unfortunately, no one was here during the day.

The Main Street of Jurassic World was now a ghost town, thanks to the tampering with nature that had always been InGen’s downfall. A mass pterosaur breakout had led to flying death descending on visitors and staff alike, an evacuation of the entire island being held following the carnage that ensued. The collapse of the park that had been running smoothly for years had all been caused by one source, one being that was now wandering the empty streets, searching for her next victim.

The Indominus Rex was made to be a product, a mascot. She was nothing but a publicity stunt gone wrong. But she had grown far beyond what her creators expected out of her. She had realized just where she was meant to be on the food chain of an ecosystem of cages. She was the apex. And now, months after her successful breakout, she had grown stronger than ever before.

Her once white scales had been painted with scarlet red stripes, as red as the blood of those she hunted for sport, sharp dorsal plates ran down her back, and a smaller red crest on the back of her neck served to symbolize her dominance as the queen of Isla Nublar, along with the deep red coloration that ran across her entire back. A new level of dark beauty was revealed to the world.

As she slinked around the abandoned landscape, the hybrid could feel a strange presence. Her natural animal instincts guided her to this place, for reasons even she could not comprehend. There was something here, hopefully something that she could savor killing, but she could see nothing of note. And it was frustrating, because she was compelled to come here for some reason, only to find NOTHING!

Roaring in rage, the advanced Indominus swung her tail across the ground, knocking over many small objects. As she vented her anger over the lack of anything to kill, an invisible being stared at her.

Such sweet hatred. Even though she was a mere dinosaur, one of the many attractions of this infernal island he had found himself on, he could feed off of the sadism she was unleashing. He just needed a vessel, something at her size that he could use to wrap her in the tender embrace of his experienced killing hands. And luckily enough, this… “experience” the companies had made provided just enough for him to construct one with his newfound power.

Compelled by the spirit around them, slowly but surely, the many animatronic parts and bodies within the experience began to split apart and coalesce, the neon lights within the construct flashing ominously, the sounds of grinding metal tearing into the haunted space.

The sound and sights caught the attention of the Indominus, who stared at the churning, flashing building with confusion. It was a small respite from the agonizing boredom. She curiously strode towards the attraction, her eyes squinting at the lights, before the cacophony and color came to an end with every machine shutting down. The power had gone out.

Before the hybrid could even wonder what had happened, a new sound hit her ears. It was a song. A music box. A calming, yet eerie rendition of what a human could recognize as the Toreador March. The song was sweet. A pleasant sensation went through the hybrid’s brain. Despite everything she had been through, from the pain of her creation to the joy of escape and slaughter, she could find pleasure in the same things any being could.

She closed her eyes and lightly swayed from side to side, getting into the flow of the old operatic piece. And then, almost as suddenly as it began to play, it stopped.

The Indominus froze, briefly startled by the cutting of the sound, took a moment to look at the dark building again, and turned away, disappointed in the lack of relaxing music, but willing to move on and-

An inhuman screech was all the warning the queen got before a gigantic mechanical shape leaped out from the Experience, destroying the building in an instant as it leapt upon her. It clambered atop her back, causing the Indominus to panic as it was held in a tight, iron grip. She dropped to the ground, instinctually rolling around to get the predator off of her. The mysterious new enemy lost its grip, allowing the Indominus to get off and stare at her new rival to the throne as it rose.

What she saw was something horrifying, beyond what even her more advanced mind could comprehend.

The robotic beast was composed entirely of junk and mechanical pieces, every robotic limb and piece put in the wrong places to compose a body. Arms were used as legs, legs were used as arms, and heads were used as joints. Wires created a system resembling that of veins, connecting everything together in some bizarre circulatory system. It had a neck made of shins, mouths on its feet, Despite the haphazard structure of its design, it could stand on two feet, and take on a human-like shape. The only thing that differentiated the basic shape were the smaller limbs jutting out of its body, and its head. It was a chilling sight, with fierce jaws, hollow eye sockets, and two ears resembling that of a rabbit, with one even having a hand at the end due to its rough construction.

The Indominus Rex could feel her heart pounding in her chest. This being, its mere existence felt wrong to be in the same place as. Whatever it was, it never could have come from nature. Had the vile things that had made her been able to construct this vile thing, which lured her in with colors and calm?

Oh, how little she knew, the foolish thing. She thought she was facing an animal. Another one of InGen’s genetically modified parlor tricks. The force deep within the aberration laughed silently at the failed attempt at relevancy. She had no idea what she was up against.

In truth, the soul which compelled this horrible thing into being was that of a man. Though, to call him that would imply any sense of humanity remained in him. His name was William Afton, and he was a monster. A builder of a brand that brought joy to so many children, youth that were the perfect tool for his lofty ambitions. Immortality was far easier to achieve than he had anticipated. All he had to do was take the lives of greedy, snot nosed brats, and use the primordial force born from their suffering to make himself something unkillable. Even when they rebelled against him, and trapped him in a mechanical coffin for decades, he refused to fade away into memory. Even when the company he built tried to relegate his existence to fantasy, he would live on. And even after his entire physical form was burned away from this Earth, he would continue to persist.

He was a living curse, a plague that would continue to haunt the world as long as they tried to continue onward and forget him, separating the art from the madman who created it.

He was William Afton.

He was the Yellow Rabbit.

He was Springtrap.

And now, he was something far greater.

He was the personification of Agony itself.

How could the mighty Indominus Rex even stand a chance?

Of course, she didn’t know any of this. All she saw was a new form of prey to hunt! The Indominus jumped forward, latching her teeth onto the shin composed neck, only to feel the natural pain of biting into metal. Regardless, she pushed forward, using her leverage to begin shoving the abomination backward, only for it to hold fast against the dinosaur. Rearing to the ground, The Agony surged upward with a mighty punch to the lower jaw, knocking the queen off balance, then followed it up with a swipe to her face with his claws.

Black scars appeared on the Indominus’ visage as she wailed in agony, the scratch dealing more pain than any blow she had suffered prior. Whatever this thing was, it was clearly built to kill. She needed to surpass it! The Indominus turned to swipe her tail at The Agony’s feet, knocking the infernal thing over on his back, and made a full rotation in time to jump atop the monster and begin tearing away at his neck with her teeth. Her claws struggled to find purchase in the squirming mass, getting tangled and caught in the twisted metal. Whatever this thing was, it had some serious armor.

But The Agony wasn’t purely brute force. Though the Indominus was a thinking animal, the sentience within the amalgamation reached out into the space near the Indominus, thinking of something, anything to conjure in order to dissuade the current threat.

Looking from side to side to ensure that the rabbit wasn’t planning a sneak attack, the mad queen had her sight suddenly stolen from her.

From out of nowhere, the Phantom Puppet, a burnt, charred marionette, latched itself onto her face, staring into her eyes. Her breath stolen from her, the Indominus hyperventilated at the mere sight of the intruder, struggling to recover as she grabbed at her head. Her hands phased right through the creature, and the brief release allowed The Agony to pull his legs towards his chest and kick outward, sending the Indominus away.

Getting back to his malformed stance, The Agony enforced more of his will, summoning three more small Phantom animatronics to his side, that of a fox, a bear, and a small, doll like boy, each covered in the same disgusting burns. The three apparitions made to soar towards their enemy, only to be caught off guard when a new noise emerged from the Indominus. That of a sharp, croaking cry for help.

As if from nowhere, four Velociraptors emerged from the shadows to attack The Agony and his creations, unleashing their jaws and talons at the entities. While Blue was able to climb atop The Agony’s shoulders and begin ripping at its wires, trying to make some kind of opening, the rest were not as lucky.

Delta snapped at the Phantom Balloon Boy, only for it to vanish, appearing behind her in an instant. Another attack, another disappearing act, this time to her side. She engaged in a game of cat and mouse with the human-like force, which laughed all the while to mock her plight.

Echo charged straight at Phantom Freddy, lashing a claw at his stomach, only for him to vanish as well. However, unlike the mockery that Delta was experiencing, this attack had devastating consequences. The raptor choked as she felt a sharp pain across her stomach, looking down to see that she had somehow clawed open her own stomach. Her head flailed to look around for the bear, only to be taken aback as it jumped at her face, shocking her enough for her to fall to the ground, effortlessly defeated.

Charlie ran after the Phantom Foxy into a nearby building, only for him to vanish as well. He had a foul smell, something she could use to her advantage as she tracked the ghostly animatronic through the halls of a nearby kitchen. He had to be somewhere, anywhere. Then, in an instant, she had stepped into hell. Animatronic limbs sprouted from every possible area, the pipes from sinks exploding with water as the mechanical hands grabbed and ripped at Charlie. She couldn’t take this, she had to escape!

Breaking free of the tight grip, she sprinted right at the suddenly visible phantom. Unleashing her teeth onto the fox, she was caught off guard by the taste of new blood, along with the wind of the outdoor environment of Main Street. There, she bore witness to a terrible truth. Charlie was never in a kitchen to begin with. The illusory building was made to trap her, deceive her…

And trick her into breaking her own sister, Delta’s neck.

Dropping the corpse to the floor, Charlie was frozen in horror, not helped by the giggles of Phantom Balloon Boy as he pointed and keeled over, finding her plight hilarious. Charlie croaked in rage as she ran right at the cackling Phantom, only to be kicked right into a real building by The Agony’s mighty leg. Crashing through the window, Charlie didn’t even have time to take in what had happened before the three summoned Phantoms were upon her, ripping away her sanity with horrible illusions the likes of which could not be described by mere words.

With that, the Phantom Puppet finally released the Indominus, disappearing to allow her to see how her pack had failed her. The alpha raptor hybrid’s eyes widened at the sight of the bodies, and in Charlie’s case, ongoing agonized death of mind and reason. The plan had been a failure, and she had lost her servants.

As if to mock her, The Agony presented his hand, still holding the biting and clawing form of Blue, and raised it up to his mouth. The Indominus growled, trying to intimidate her enemy into letting go of her last minion.

Such audacity. Did this little girl really think she was in any position to scare him? The symbol of an entire legacy of terror and trauma? Was she still not yet petrified beyond reason? Fine. He would show her just what other terrors he was capable of… by giving Blue a big kiss!

On three! One… Two…

*CRUNCH!*

With that, Blue was gone, her entire skull crushed in the hydraulic press that was The Agony’s jaws. Dropping the fighter’s body to the ground, The Agony stretched out his arms. Ta-Da!

The Indominus almost enjoyed the show of sadism. But nonetheless, her pride mattered far more than the loss of a few small subjects. She had overcome the humans that had made her to be a toy, and now she would show this unholy thing just how dangerous she could be!

Slightly crouching down, The Agony beckoned the dinosaur forward the same way he would lure in the children he made suffer, playfully pulling his hand towards his body to taunt the creature forward. Succumbing to the urge to charge, the Indominus seemed to be making another blind attack, but proceeded to nimbly jump right over the machine’s head. Lashing out a hand in an attempt to catch her, The Agony’s claw ran across her ankle, leaving behind another black, oozing mark.

She slammed to the ground, more acid-like pain flowing through her foot. The poison within this thing’s claws was a deadly weapon, and something she couldn’t afford to make any more mistakes with! With that, she vanished. The spirit was pleasantly surprised by the camouflaging, but two could play at this game…

Using the Animstealth Module, The Agony, this giant, easily noticed robot, also vanished into thin air. To an onlooker, they would only see the occasional distortion of air as the slashers hunted each other through the street. For once, there was silence.

While the Indominus struggled to see where The Agony had gone, he had a much easier time with his magic trick. And besides, he was the first to draw blood. As long as he waited for the right moment, the right droplet or sign of pain…

But then, once more, the mighty teeth and claws slammed onto his back! The Indominus had somehow snuck up on him! Was the Module that flawed?! The queen had gone into a maddened fury, clawing at his back and biting away at his shoulder, even managing to rip off pieces of metal! The animatronic parts began to fall off, along with the left shoulder of mismatched parts beginning to collapse in on itself! The prehistoric mutant would’ve laughed to herself if she could. The monster may have been made of metal, but she had more blades!

Even when The Agony spun around and slammed his back into more buildings, she wouldn’t let up! The shoulder caved in on itself, disabling his arm! Was this it? Had he truly failed, ripped apart just as he made his grand return?!

No. No! This animal, this… thing! Every miserable dinosaur and human still on this island, in this world, was beneath him!

The sheer anger and hate from the soul within began to manifest in the weather itself, as a massive storm cloud emerged over the landscape of Jurassic World. As those still remaining ran into shelter, the Indominus felt herself becoming tired, even when she tried to break The Agony’s neck with her teeth. No, she wouldn’t let go, not when she was this close! Her limited knowledge of the world prevented her from realizing that the summoned rain was supernaturally enhanced to weaken her.

Taking advantage of the dinosaur’s fatigue, The Agony reached behind his head with his still working hand, grabbed her by the neck, and threw her to the side like trash. Enforcing his will over the collapsed buildings, debris was called over to the broken arm and damaged neck of the beast, repairing the wounds in an instant.

Was this her end? This beast was unstoppable! No matter how much she tried, he wouldn’t go down. The Agony mockingly presented his arms out again, showing his perfected body to the foul thing that thought it could surpass him. She was wounded, struggling to persist, and here he was, in his prime, wielding the very park she was trapped in to repair himself and undo all of her hard work.

But even as the Rainy Day weakened her further, the Indominus continued to fight! She ran at The Agony, swinging and clawing, swiping her tail, making bites. Nothing mattered. The rain made her sluggish, slow. As she put all of her remaining strength into a desperate leap, the amalgamation shoved his hand into her gut, making the worst of his corruptive wounds yet.

The Indominus choked on the unnatural sensation. This was more than poison. This was pure hatred made manifest for the purpose of killing her. Using his other hand to grab her neck, The Agony lifted the dinosaur triumphantly, presenting her to any observers left, before chucking her all the way to the edge of the Mosasaurus’ lagoon, leaving behind a trail of corroded black pus and ooze.

He crept towards the wounded creature, who made an even weaker attempt to get up to her feet. Though she could get into a crouching position, the once leveled up Indominus was a tiger put into a corner, shaking and shivering at the approaching demon.

This mutant, despite being an animal, was so filled with hubris. She looked upon the hollow face of God and thought she could win, let alone kill it? How sweet. But he could feel it. Smell it. It remained within her as her guts were spilled apart by his corruption. Her shaking legs and widened eyes gave it away.

Delicious, wonderful fear…

But despite the monstrous assault he had committed, there was one thing The Agony could never account for. The laws of nature.

The Mosasaurus leaped out from beneath the waves of her lagoon, slamming her teeth onto the wounded Indominus, who struggled against the crushing grip of the bigger fish. The Agony stepped back, but felt a grasping sensation on his malformed shin. She was still going?! Even as she was being eaten?!

As the Mosasaurus reared back, throwing herself and her prey into her watery home, the Indominus refused to let go, clenching down on the twisted rabbit. They were both dragged away, the beast trying to find anything to grab onto, only to find nothing as they were plunged into their shared grave.

The crushing of The Agony’s leg ceased as the Mosasaurus bit down harder, crushing the Indominus’ organs and bringing an end to her reign of terror. Her limp head let go of The Agony, which slowly sank to the bottom of the pit, watching as his foe was chomped up and swallowed.

He had failed. The Indomitable Queen, despite being a mere attraction, meant to dance for the masses, had so much spite, so much hatred in her heart, that even when looking death in the eyes, she refused to give up the fight. She had brought his plans to a standstill, the body he had made out of Fazbear’s parts falling apart as a result of the exposure to the depths.

But even as it collapsed completely, leaving the many limbs and pieces to sink to the bottom of the Mosasaurus’ lagoon, never to be seen again by the eyes of man… he did not despair.

He knew just what this was. Another setback, sure, but ultimately a step in the right direction. This body was the most powerful one he inhabited yet. He still remained on an island of enough technology, and enough Fazbear branded tech to find some way to keep going. The hatred exuded by his opponent was enough to keep him existing in this world, along with those still trying to find their way on Isla Nublar.

The spirit of William Afton would live on. And so would that of the Indominus Rex, granted, in a metaphorical sense. The two had left behind a legacy of blood too great to be swept under the rug by the companies that believed they could become more than what they were. Miserable, squishy, greedy humans that thought their mistakes could be brushed off forever. It would be all part of the plan, or a rumor, or hey, maybe they’d even give out an apology to the grieving, saying they never intended for lives to be lost and changed forever. It wouldn’t matter.

The Indominus Rex would be forever remembered. And William Afton, the spirit of Agony?

He’d always come back…

I was writing my own match, and to check something I came across this! What a lovely surprise!
Spoiler:
It's a fun little match between two stone cold killers. I'm nowhere near caught up on FNAF lore (I only ever played the first 3), but seeing old purple guy fight the Indominus was sweet. A highlight for me was when the Raptors joined in, though I do feel pretty bad for them, especially Blue. None of the girls deserved what Afton had in store for em. I didn't expect a draw honestly, so I was surprised when The Agony didn't pull off the win.
Good match, great stuff Buoy!

Fazbear Entertainment and Ingen collaborating? God, Indominus breaking free is probably the least horrifying way that could have ended.

This match was pretty fun! Really dug the Agony’s variety of powers being showcased, and the contrasts and comparisons between ol’ Afton and the Indominus. Led to a pretty good dynamic and action set pieces.
