Extra Terrestrial Visitors (1983)

Hey my fellow MST3K fans, let's take a trip down memory lane and discuss an infamous botched attempt at Scifi/Horror. The film in question being 1983's Spanish/French co-production Extra Terrestrial Visitors. Most of you however, know it under the title of Pod People.

What do you have to say about this film? Do you have fond memories watching Joel and the bots riffing their way through it? Also, would anyone like to discuss the film's production which was notably just as messy as the final product? Could've it turned out any better without producer interferrence? Feel free to leave a comment below.

Honestly this might be my favorite MST episode.
I was introduced to MST at G-fest in 2005, and later that year found the Pod People episode at a thrift store on VHS. Needless to say i damn near wore the tape out over the years.
I need to watch this sans the MST crew one time for the one time soon.
The aliens' idea to use humanity's trust was frightening. But have no fear, this is a tale of the far distant future. What? Why's that, you ask? Because we humans still don't trust each other enough for aliens to prey on us that way.

I feel like the biggest reveal of all time...was with the clear picture we learned...the guy is wearing not a 'I'm a Virgin' shirt but..."I'm a Virgin (small print) Islander."

What do I think? It stinks. Had to make that joke.

While the movie could be much better, Joel and the bots did a great job with the film. It's a good episode.
The problem with doing nothing is that you never know when you're finished.

It was too dark to see properly. He was more like a beast than a human being.

Wow.
Oh c'mon there's NOTHING interesting about this movie aside from being an MST3K episode and that stupid shirt! It was funny how seeing it cleaned up showed it and it felt like a lot of people went 'ooooh it's got it.'
