:How smart are we allowed to make Grimlock and the Dinobots? In the G1 cartoon their mostly big brutes. But in most modern media their intelligence varies a lot more.

:What determines the powers and weapons the TF cast got? Is it based of the speciffic incarnations we have access to. Or just what would make sense for a combatant?

Likely not, as they're somewhat more in the realm of their own thing. It'd be like having Mario and Luigi as Assists because of Bowser's Inside Story. Kinda just circumstantial (hence why most of the other Bowser forms are absent, a la Bowletta or any of the other M&L super modes).

How close does a character have to be to another to be considered eligible to become an Assist? For example, I get Gohan because he has way more of a connection to Piccolo, but what about the rest of the Z-Fighters, since they’ve also helped Piccolo out on a regular basis? Team 7 could get in because of how close they were to Naruto, and by extension Kurama.

Now that anyone can come in multiples, it got me thinking. Are "mirror matches" allowed in certain circumstances? Like say, Optimus Prime (Normal) vs Optimus Prime (Shattered Glass), or Megatron vs Galvatron? Or is that sort of thing Side Trip material?

Are the Psycho Rangers allowed to be used in matches, and are they allowed to use kaiju forms? Not as combatants ofc, but could we have say, a Varan or Rayquaza Psycho Ranger?

I will say it's very circumstantial and odd... But there can be circumstances where that applies. I always go back to Match 220 as a frame of reference. Because in it, the Trilopods lose (in the sense they lose to the Xiliens) and win (in that the last ones standing are controlled by the Xiliens). In principle, it's just a matter of who the last one standing is, and generally was only ever applicable when a character traditionally came in swarms.

Universal characters exist in a unique space where they're fused into one spot as a "singular" character, but simultaneously exist as separate characters in one space. Having multiples of everyone will likely bring out this "hidden feature" more in future submissions. And in a scenario where G1 Prime and SG Prime go toe-to-toe and end in a draw, it'd be a loss for "Optimus Prime the KWC Fighter" given they'd effectively remove Prime from the equation (unless they're the last ones remaining... Which I guess would be a win, since they outlasted everyone else?). It's the unfortunate chink in the armor when it comes to Universalized characters, as a solo "G1 Prime vs. SG Prime" wouldn't be fully feasible, in the same way we can't have "Male MUTO vs. Female MUTO".

All that said, if you want a decent visual example of what that'd look like, something like Match 258 is a good example of where a "singular" character wins with multiple icons to reflect that. If there are any matches that are missing this, please just let me know and post it in the Errors Thread.

Yes, Belial’s bio will recieve significant updates when his debut match goes up. The Belial Fusion monsters and Early Style will be allowed.

-Since we're pulling from Godziban and the Kodansha manga, does that mean we can have a match where kaiju talk to each other?
-On a similar note, can the different Godzillas be written as their Godziban counterparts? Heisei as Taigo, G2K as Mirei, etc.
-Since most of the Transformers are universal, can we "merge" continuities together? For example, writing RotB Optimus as an older version of TFOne Optimus?
