That's a new low, indeed. They could have made it a 'Minus Color Heat Ray Ver.' w/translucent white spines to make it unique, at least...

I bet they decided to basically re-release the japanese Tasmashii Nations event exclusive figure because of the backlash they received for making that high-demand variant so scarce and expensive to obtain for all those International buyers.

It was pretty clear this was coming. The beam and energy effects are a nice extra. Personally I had hopes for folded wings, head damage parts and (maybe) opened chest crest parts, but... well, BANDAI. Maybe they will include that with release #4 in 5-10 years.

Great news for anyone that missed it or wanted it. Also comes with effect pieces still like my OG better so this will be a pass but a good choice for SHMA.

This is not a release I'd normally jump on immediately (that's me), but considering the skyrocketing prices of the earlier SHMA Destoroyah versions, it's one I would want to get before I can't if the production run isn't high, so...is it a low run or higher?

Really, I'm not expecting a shelfwarmer like Hedorah or MOGERA, etc., but I do wonder what his staying power is, how long I could wait, what anticipated late taxes would be, and so on.

Lastly, I saw some folks are already calling him cheesehorn and cheezwiz. I know the images aren't necessarily final, but I do wonder a little if his chest and horn are really gonna be that yellow, or if it's just the lighting, etc.

Not gonna lie...kinda tempted by Destoroyah. Hiya's definitely got one in the wings with Burning G just revealed, but this is still tempting.

Anguirus arrived yesterday, haven't had a chance to mess with him yet though.

That means that the seller you bought Anguirus from is waiting for Bandai to ship him the figure.

Got my Anguirus too. Surreal to finally have him after a decade of collecting imagining it lol.

Fantastic sculpt, articulation and paint, only issue is he has the 1989 "move the peg too much, lower jaw pops off" issue but with a sculpt that makes that a lot less forgivable

Did anyone post about the G'14 reissue? Same sculpt as the original, called "nighttime colors" but I mean, it's the same thing. Maybe a little less brown

If the paint on the face is fixed, this might be the definitive version.

Well, now...I'd like to see that.

Still, three SHMA '54s might finally have me sleeping in the tub.

Photos of all 4 Movie Graphics Plus figures from the convention are on FB groups.

Other topic: pre-orders of the upcoming SHMA Destoroyah Decisive Battle Ver. are allegedly sold out already on the Tasmashii Webshop/Premium BANDAI... people don't want to sleep on it yet again, it seems.

Hadn't seen the upclose on the '54, though. Will look again unless someone posts it here. (And then I will if I find it.) ;)

Well, that answers that. Still, BBTS and others may come through.

Looks pretty amazing to me besides the sort of odd mouth highlights. As happy as I am that I got the original '54 release, every redeco has looked cooler and cooler.

Ah, thanks. I like the spine.

I actually did see that milk moustache somewhere. At least I hope it's milk, and he doesn't have a real problem there like some bears do.
