The Ultraman. Humanity’s first contact with an extraterrestrial in the year 1966. From what we can gather the creatures true body is the glowing orb within the creatures chest, the “body” that encases it is an biologically engineered chassis used purely for combat. The creature consistently only appears for three minutes, the reason why is currently unknown.

(The Ultraman is the universes White Blood Cell, being called upon to extinguish the infecting bacteria and viruses. -Shin Hayata)

I really like this artist's style. Anguirus and Rodan are my favorites here.

There are some really good ideas here, and Anguirus is decent (aside from the ugly wing flap things that people keep trying to bring back), but most of these are just off from working for me. Biollante being the worst offender. Make it look a smidge closer to the source material and you got my vote.

1: Literally just MV Godzilla with countershading, can't really say much on this.
2: Ew, no. Anguirus with a beak is a big turn-off for me.
3: Varan's pretty meh. As for Moguera, I have nothing negative to say... or positive... or anything, really.
4: Gonna have to pass on these, too. Not really a fan of the MV Mothra design and making the head humongous doesn't help matters at all.
5: Manda's too snake-like here for my taste. If that's Ebirah in the corner, he looks good but at the same time, can you really mess up a big lobster?
6: I like Baragon quite a lot, especially with the sorta lava-y glow in his plates. The Giant Condor is the same case as maybe-Ebirah.
7: Not a big fan of Mechani-Kong here. On the other hand, I really like how Gabara looks here. Or is that Salunga? Can't really tell these days

1. Eh. It’s just a recolour of MV Godzilla with new proportions.
2. Feels too similar to an ankylosaur from JW.
3. Don’t like either. Varan just looks bizarre and buff Moguera isn’t too my liking.
4. Both are alright, if not just MV style redesigns.
5. I like Maguma, not a fan of Manda, and Ebirah is just FW Ebirah.
6. Baragon is cute, but maybe a little too cute?
7. Mechani Kong just looks off, and Gabara/Salunga is alright I suppose.
