Lost Project: Godzilla Vs Batman

Post by Kubo »

Ah, this is a good one. Tell me what you think of this concept. Would it have been good? What would it have been about? Just some food for thought, I'll leave you to feast on this topic.

The grooviest thing since sliced bread and a car phone.

This needed to happen.

I hope it would've been a japanese batman who could grow to giant size.

Or get Nick Adams to play Bruce Wayne. And get him to grow to giant size.

And they fight a giant Joker robot. Awesome.

I would've wanted to see this if I were a '60s kid. But I still say Godzilla vs. The Devil would've been better. :P

Interesting idea, Hellspawn.

While it sounds interesting, it would end up as Godzilla being attacked by various bat vehicles probably. Including the Joker might make things better, as Batman has two evil forces to contend with, but I doubt this would have been a good film.

Oh man...those comic bubbles of onomatopoeia would have been great too. Pow! Smash! Yeah go Godzilla!

This would have been a terribly good movie, if you catch my drift.

I find it hard to believe that anyone is even still talking about this.

I think it would've challenged Muhammad Ali vs. Superman for the title of ridiculousness.

Just wait until they think of Gamera Vs Batman. That's when the real sh** hits the fan.

Even better: Have Batman walking away victorius from the end of the next sequel and then Godzilla just smashes his caped butt into the ground randomly.

This movie would have sucked ass and been unpopular with the fandom until the 2000s when everyone suddenly decided to love it becuase it was underrated.

I would have loved to see Adam West being Batman. "Robin, our Batarangs don't seem to be doing anything to this giant...thing!"

Obviously it was some sixties era brain vomit. But if it did see the light of day, the consequences or effects on the Godzilla franchise would've been minimal and would've been remembered as one (of many) of the weirder chapters in the Godzilla series. Nothing more, nothing less.
