It got destroyed by an RPG armed Joker. :?
Yeah, but the Joker is awesome. Somebody else shooting such a weapon might have had different results.

Not to further diverge the thread, but things need to be seen from a storytelling perspective. Batman's vehicle being destroyed by the bad guy is what that scene is about. The means that make it happen could swap, but the concept would remain the same. It's very similar to Burton's Batman, that has Joker gunning down the Batwing with a single shot.

It's an RPG. Doesn't matter if it was Joker or Two-Face or some nameless minion holding it cause at the end of the day, it's still an RPG.
It's what the plot required at the moment.

Not if the story demands a different outcome.

I think the following quote is relevant to this issue:

I think the Tumbler looks great for going "crunch".

It's mind-boggling as to why. Sounds like shit AH would stir up.

What could the tumbler do to Goji that a mazer can't? Furthermore, why do you think the tumbler could withstand thousands of tons of pressure?

If he wants to see the world burn, Godzilla is the way to do it.

...*sigh*

You know, when Alfred said that some men just want to watch the world burn, he didn't literally mean it like that.

Also, if the Joker would want to destroy the world (which he never would), he would want to do it with his own hands, not by the hands of Godzilla.

All I can read is "Battoman tai Gojira" on the far right. The rest is too compressed.

There was one...
Yes, I know. I own several of the old comics. Bought them new, back in the day. Anyway, I didn't make myself clear enough. I think making a film with the Marvel Godzilla would be a lot better option than Godzilla vs Batman.

It would be cool if someone would translate this. I can't read very much Japanese, but I see that "Gordon" and "Barbara" are mentioned in a few places. There's also some weird thing called a "Vasser" mentioned (in Japanese and in English). If only the quality wasn't so shitty.

So we have Batgirl helping. Batman would need all the help he can get against Godzilla.

Batgirl should have been Yuriko Hoshi.
