I would see a lot of problems with this movie if they had made it........

Batman would've probably gotten a Batmecha.

Either a giant flying bat or a giant Batman Megazord thing.

I very much consider TFA to be half-assed. What a generic film which only fed on nostalgia, it brought nothing new to the table.
That's not true. C3PO had a red arm.

It always sounded like a really crazy idea to me. What's next? the Flash? Superman? (wait that one actually sounds pretty cool) Green Lanturn?

Would've been cool to see Godzilla destroy Gotham City.

Cataclysm just got cooler xD

It was the Showa era and Adam West was Batman, anything was possible!
I can see can the movie going like..The Joker unleashes a giant monster to destroy Batman. So Batman enlisted the help of Godzilla to save the day.

I seriously doubt Godzilla would have actually fought Batman.

As much as I would love to see this, it won't be taken seriously.

I could see Joker getting Godzilla into Gotham, and Batman fight Godzilla off using maybe a Batzilla or some shit.

It would be great if it was made!
I calculated the odds of this succeeding vs the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid, and I went ahead and did it anyways.

To all of the people who say that this movie would be too weird to work, I counter your argument with Frankenstein vs. Baragon.

There's a difference. That movie worked. Godzilla vs Batman didn't work so badly it was never made.
But my point is that they could have made it work.

All they'd need to do was look in Batman's Utility belt.

There's a MOONLIGHT MASK episode where the eponymous hero takes on a kaiju named Mammoth Kong and it's awesome.

It's probably just as well this film was never made. It's speculation on my part, but this probably would have ended up being considered the low point of both franchises.
On the plus side, it probably would have been so bad it would be hilarious.

Probably because it features two very iconic, yet very different characters against each other. I'm not saying I wish the film would be made either, but I can see why it would spark many's interest.

I wonder if they would pull a King Kong on this one with Batman's size vastly increased to fight Godzilla.
