Godzilla (GvGR/Adult Junior?) vs IDW Godzilla

Godzilla (GvGR)

VS

Godzilla (IDW)

Rules: Standard Heisei Scaling; No retreat; RoE IDW Godzilla; neither Godzilla can go supercharged.

Battleground: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.

Verdict: I think this fight can go either way. Both Godzillas can tank a lot of punishment, though each one seems to have one distinct advantage over the other. GvGR Godzilla (Junior?)’s atomic ray is an absolute force of nature, but IDW Godzilla definitely has the advantage in close quarters combat.

I’m abstaining for now.

IDW. Much better melee, more experience, also has a powered up atomic ray that seems more powerful than Jr's anyway.

IDW godzilla could be scaled to universal with massive wank but is probbaly planet or star level and even ignoring it IDW godzilla has more impressive feats then Junior did so hes gonna bitch smake the fatherless Godzilla and go back to sleep.

Dude, there is no such thing as "star level", "planet level", "universal level", etc. That's all just stupid Death Battle Wiki bullshit. Please cease with that. We look at feats and achievements in the characters' respective media here and decide from there. That's it.

Wait so were going by how they fight and how effective their beams are cause even then IDW is still superior since he fought and defeated the big trilopod Magita which was 500 meters

I don't understand the whole "universe level, city block level, etc" scaling system. Does being universal mean when you hit something the force of that strike is equivalent to the entire universe? It's really confusing and incoherent, I gave up on ever trying to understand it when a person tried to explain to me how a real life crocodile is "large building level" because of TNT.

I think it's the idea of what they're capable of destroying.

Basically it means how powerful someone that they could destroy something like a planet or universe like how many people put cell at solar system level since he had power to destroy the solar system or king ghidorah being star level due to possessing the power of a star

A: That whole thing is straight up stupid

B: Use the quote button when quoting someone

A: It's a matter of subjectivity, both what ppl call powerscaling and how we do things here are both equally valid, it's just a matter of the person and their standards.

B: He's a newbie + sometimes things fail.

The aim of this message was A.

So being universe level would mean a character has the power of everything in the universe?

(Also is there some kind of weird quote thing for new members? I tested around with the button a bit and when I use it for someone with a blue name it doesn't appear to work properly.)

Hey there. The quotes for new members should be working unless it was a weird glitch. Try quoting my response and let's see if it is working properly.

Edit: I did it fine in another thread an hour or so ago, so I'm not so sure that it's a new member thing.

Hmm, just to troubleshoot - looks like you removed the brackets from my username when quoting. If it was working earlier in another thread, then I think you accidentally removed the brackets. But I'm not sure why there was ">" in what you quoted.

Should look like this: [quote="MechaGoji Bro7503....etc

I didn't remove anything, it's just always like that every time I click the button in this thread.

Interesting, then it must be only a glitch. I'll investigate with the admin team about the quoting issue for new members. Sorry about the inconvenience!
