Verdict:
Rodan will most likely dominate the physical battle when he closes the distance. Gyaos' beam is the most dangerous weapon in a dog fight however. A cutting weapon like the Sonic Cutter has a good chance of slicing off a wing. That fact Rodan likes the close the distance makes that a very possible outcome. I think Gyaos can win.

Tough one. But I count on Hyper G being capable of not only dealing significant harm but also evading just as well.

[Breakdown]

Heisei Rodan made rocks explode with his pecks and knocked over Heisei Godzilla with a graze of his wing, he'd absolutely demolish Gyaos in melee combat. Like, he'd literally pop Gyaos's head like a zit with his beak. He's tanky enough to take the Sonic Cutter long enough to catch Gyaos and eviscerate it.

Rodan withstood the Plasma Grenade at point blank range, so the Sonic Cutter isn't going to hurt him that easily. And given Gyaos's fragility, a single Uranium Heat Ray will probably blow him apart. One fireball decapitated him, remember.

Rodan withstood multiple mega busters and Garuda laser cannon shots with no harm, and had to take three—three—plasma grenade shots to take him down. And even then, he was still alive.

Rodan wins.

Rodans fought and done pretty well against godzilla and mechagodzilla and took the mega buster and multiple lasers head on. Rodans probably gonna win here but Gyaos is still a dangerous foe with his beam but i give Rodan a 7/10 chance of winning and gyaos a 3/10
