Godzilla vs The World Of Monsters - OFFICIAL Reboot!

Post by Voyager »

Monsterland, 2029

The gentle waves caressed the golden shores, and the breeze kissed the palm trees. Birds chirped and dolphins chattered. Not a single monster stirred. For an island with so many inhabitants, you’d think it would be a little louder. But not today apparently. Today was a day of rest. A large void-like cave sat in the centre of the island, a huge ring of stone surrounding a deep entrance. It was pitch black, and completely silent save for one thing. The deep breathing of a giant beast lightly echoed from within the cave.

The beast was a fearsome monster, one respected throughout the known universe. Even here on an island among like-sized creatures, it was King. This, however, did not ward-off the determined. At the cave’s entrance, rocks slipped as three Skullcrawlers scurried their way in front of the dark hole. These lizard-like monsters were pests, known for causing trouble among the island’s population. They fed mostly off of small animals, that being birds, crocodiles, buffalo and large fish. Stuff most monsters weren’t interested in. It seems as though today, these little terrors felt good, and wanted to test their luck.

Of the three, the largest of them hissed, commanding his subordinates to take a trip inside the cave. The smaller Skullcrawlers grimaced, but obliged. They entered the cave, bearing their teeth and forked tongues. Taking both flanks, they sprinted in. The pitch black encompassed them, and their vision was rendered numb. However, the breathing they’d heard was getting louder, and a vague outline of something could be seen. This was their chance, they thought. They would become the true monsters they believed they could be. Leaping forward via their bulked arms, their mouths shot agape as they prepared to sink their teeth into their prey.

A harsh yelp sounded throughout the cave, sounding like a donkey who’d been stabbed. The Skullcrawlers panicked, letting go of their prey. Deep growling rang throughout every nook and cranny as the lizards disappeared from the beast’s immediate view. The large lizard waiting outside heard the kerfuffle inside, thinking they’d completed their objective. His tongue drooped from the side of his mouth, acidic saliva and gnarly teeth gnashing together in a gluttonous frenzy. This thought came crashing down when a blue hue lit up the cave, briefly revealing the fleeing Skullcrawlers and the beast. A beam of radiation shot out, smashing into the two Skullcrawlers, launching their charred bodies into the forest with a burning hiss. The larger Skullcrawler’s pupils shrunk, and he spun around in a hurry. The lizard monster felt the bones in his tail being crushed as he was grasped by a fist full of anger.

Lifting the Skullcrawler up, the beast looked directly into his eyes. It was Godzilla, the King of the Monsters! Trailing behind the growling beast was his son Minya, whose’ thigh had scarlet liquid trickling down it’s length. The prince whimpered as he held tightly onto his father’s leg. The Skullcrawler too, started to whimper. His pleas of forgiveness were considered. Godzilla’s eyes narrowed, huffing out smoke from his nostrils. The King tossed the Skullcrawler away, slamming the lizard into a cliff-side wall. The broken-bodied monster dragged himself away, his claws struggling to pull him through the forest.

Godzilla huffed, turning around to face his son. Squatting to meet his son eye-to-eye, he wiped away his tears and placed his hand over his son’s wound before embracing Minya in a hug. Godzilla stood up, placing his hand on his son’s back, smiling. Minya smiled back and understood the assignment. The monster prince waddled off towards the Inland Sea where the others monsters were. It was fishing time!

Godzilla took a step forward, before noticing something in the sky. It was a flaming ball, seeming to appear from the sun itself. Godzilla placed his hand above his eyes, trying to get a clearer view. It didn’t get any less confusing. The ball of flames shone down at the island, quickly shooting across the early morning blue sky. It wasn’t long until the object disappeared behind the horizon. No crash, no boom, no wave. It was just gone. The monster king snapped his fingers in frustration, lamenting in the fact that there’d be no fight today. Godzilla was all too used to fighting aliens. The King shrugged and walked off to join his son & friends.

Darkness.

It was all he knew for the longest time, and as such, he was forced to embrace it. His teeth dug deep into the flesh of the deceased giant worm, tearing open a hole in his neck as he reached the delicious meat within.

Frankenstein focused on nothing else. There was nothing else, really. His crocodilian tail swayed side to side as he sat down, the thoughts in his head basically empty. Bored was the only thing that really described how he felt as of now. For the world of the undergound didn't hand him much in the way of excitment..

The unholy abomination yawned, then sighed. He was tired of exploring the same old rock covered walls, fighting the same old monsters that challenged him ad nauseam. What he would do to try and find some other world to run around and explore. Or perhaps, was he best off staying put right here-?

-.. Suddenly, the caverns began to shake. What was this? It was almost like the entire world around him was falling apart! Rocks slammed down on his head as he suddenly got up and bolted, trying to escape.. whatever was happening!

Jumping into a hole, Frankenstein lucked out, escaping the sudden cave-in that the rest of the cavern suffered.

Once the smoke cleared, however, the soulless eyes of the strange lifeform was greeted with a peculiar sight. There was.. rocks, above the rocks? With an strange beam of light that shone, ever so slightly from them. He smelled something unfamiliar, scents that didn't belong to the underground.. Could it be? Was there something else waiting for him after all?

Anxiously grappling onto the side of the walls with his lion paws, Frankenstein used them to try and climb. Curling his hand into a fist, he began to punch his way past the dirt and boulders that blocked his path. The further he got, the closer the scents got. He was nearing something, and he could only hope it would be glorious..

Bermuda Triangle, Atlantic Ocean

Beneath the surface of the water and really near the bottom of the sea, the old ruins of what seemed to be a lost civilization were left scattered along. Whatever history, whatever legacy these people may have once had was now lost to the abyss and only stands as some fragmented relics. An ideal location for one to rest when they wished to not be disturbed, such as the case of the massive Titan who had made this his home.

It's outline suggested it was Godzilla, but its size and overall demeanor suggested it was not the usual line famously known as "The King of the Monsters", no, this was something different something that perhaps was as ancient and a product of a lost era. One before man ever set foot on the soil of Mother Earth.

An Ancient Godzilla, the Titan King who acted as the vanguard of this world, rested in one of those rare moments of peace.

However, this aggressive protector's eyes would open up as it seemed to sense a disturbance. A presence, once that seemed foreign to this world as a bright light shimmered over the sea before it seemed to vanish over a distant horizon. Regardless, this creature's senses were tingling and the massive beast moved off the floors of this lost civilization and began to swim up to the surface. While it enjoyed its moments of peace and rest, it had a duty that had been the guiding principal behind its being for generations now and it had no intention of slacking today.

Large dorsal plates broke along the surface of the water, a poor fisherman's ship was knocked by the waves aside but managed to avoid tipping over as Godzilla began to swim out to the source of where this strange fiery object of the sky descended towards. Whatever this object was, whatever purpose it had mattered not to Ancient Godzilla, for it knew it was one thing above all else.

An imbalance to the natural order, and thus it must be corrected.

The shooting ball of flame and fire shot through the sky, leaving a white trail of thick smoke in it’s wake. It travelled with immense speed, but wirth every passing moment edged closer and closer to the blurry ground it flew past. One moment, it was as triumphant as ever, and the next, a burst of light. The light illuminated everything, burning the pale ground and blinding all those who went near. Next was an unimaginably loud rumble, who crawled it’s way through the open rocky desert it had landed in. The ground sizzled, and a crater as large as the mountains surrounding it was carved into the dirt. There were no flames, no smoke, only a large crater with burn-marks around it.

Within the crater, the sound of a faint static whirr chimed out, followed by various other unearthly sounds. Loud, metallic footsteps followed, getting closer to the top of the crater.

“The Scout has arrived, Captain.”

“Good, proceed…

They will never find us here.

White eyes shined upon the gleaming waters, but these eyes didn't see any peacefulness, all they saw was violence, replayed over and over in his mind, or shall we say, their minds. It had been years since the phantom Godzilla had seen anything, but now he had finally regenerated his body from his endlessly beating heart, and now he was ready to take revenge on this cruel world. It was a calm day in Tokyo, people enjoyed going to the beaches in Japan, and doing many other things. It had been long since the last monster attack, and the world seemed to be careless about what had happened to the phantom Godzilla, but that day, they would learn what had happened, and what will happen.

All of a sudden, a blue flash exploded from the water, and a head rose from the water. Screams could be heard throughout the beaches of Tokyo, some were just screams of fear, others were screaming out the name of the horror known as Gojira. "Run, it's Godzilla!" some shouted, but people didn't need to listen to know what to do. But as they thought they could escape the wrath of the ghosts, Godzilla's dorsal plates lit up, in a blue hue, and then his mouth turned blue, and then, it was dead quiet...

"Why hasn't he done anything?" asked one, but only the ghosts knew what was happening. Some ghosts only wanted the government dead, but others wanted to wipe out all of humankind, and they were struggling to gain control over firing his atomic breath or not.

Silence, nothing happened, not a word was said.

But then, Godzilla jerked his head upwards, firing a blast at a nearby government office, screams could be heard once more as the phantom made his way to the center of Tokyo, and in a fit of rage, Godzilla called out, waiting to see if some "Guardian monster will come save Tokyo, no response, not yet, at least. Godzilla felt bored by the lack of trouble, and began his devastating attack on Tokyo, something needed to stop him, and quickly, for no one knows what he will do if nothing stops him.

San Diego, California, USA

The world seemed to have gone crazy overnight. A mysterious meteor or a presumed meteor had sailed in the sky and just landed on a large desert. The impact thankfully seemed limited to an area with little population, but its mere presence seemed to trigger too much activity. The news broadcast what seemed to be world-wide activity which seemed to range from the surfacing of a vastly large Godzilla on the shores that seemed to almost try to trail the meteor's path to the desert, the arrival of this flying object having smashed a satellite that's remnants smashed along the country upon arrival, rumors of some large beast in the jungles that also seemed drawn by this object's activity and what seemed to be a second Godzilla that emerged and began to attack Tokyo.

The concerning thing is neither of these Godzilla seemed to match the one most commonly known on Monsterland.

Davis Okoye sighed, the ex special forces operative tried to tune out all the noise as really monster sightings had almost been nominalized. As a precaution the San Diego Wildlife Sanctuary had been put on alert all the same, in case they needed to evacuate the animals and staff at a moment's noticed. Davis was not a man who liked to take chances with creatures humanity could not begin to understand.

At the moment the most glaring concern is what was wrong with George.

George was a young albino gorilla that would've been killed in the wild due to its birth abnormality had Davis not found and rescued it. Davis raised George almost like he was a son, providing a safe home for him at the sanctuary and the two had developed a close bond. Course, that had only made these recent developments more troubling, as the satellite that was knocked out of orbit by this strange object that crashed in the desert seemed to land a piece inside George's exhibit and exposure to some strange serum caused George to become more aggressive and nearly double in size just in the last hour.

Davis was unsure what to do, especially since it seemed George was only getting bigger and this newfound temper and anxiety caused by the glowing object in the sky was only mounting the concerns...

The robotic static emanating from the crater grew louder, progressing with every clunky footstep. A large frame appeared from over the top of the crater, standing like a dark obelisk over the barren wasteland. The robot’s otherworldly war cry sounded throughout the desert, as bright sunlight reflected off of the black armour that adorned it’s body.

Blues and reds flashed on the robot’s stomach, lights to indicate thought. A sleek visor sat at the top of the metallic behemoth’s face, and on each side where two thick radio-ornaments. The radars on each end twisted and spun, rattling with electricity. The metal-monster’s three fingered hands turned into fists, and it’s right hand turned into a large cannon. An ear bursting crack came from the gun as a shell popped out from the side. It was locked and loaded.

The Captain said into the built in comms, “Primary Objective for Unit-0. Scout the planet’s surface for strong life-forms. Eradicate them. King Joe Black, fist of Pedan, claim this planet for our empire.”

With a gun-salute, the black behemoth marched off, looking for a fight.

BAM!

One last throw of the fist sent the entire ground turning asunder. But as the dust and soot cleared, the world was greeted with an absolutely horrific.. Yet, simultaneously, rather strange sight.

Baby blue eyes winced at the rays of the sun, turning away as his eyes struggled to adjust to the blue sky and fluffy white clouds. For the first time in his life, his cut up, sewn hands reached out, listened to the birds, (who were undoubtedly frightened by the fact that this demon just destroyed a huge chunk of their home and suddenly popped out of the ground) and felt the wind hit his face. This was the outside world. A world Frankenstein knew absolutely nothing about, and didn't know how to explore.

Nor was he all too aware of what else ran around.

But he could sense some of them. He had no idea what they were, but they felt.. alive. Things that were awakened by some other mysterious force he couldn't identify, but he didn't get much in the way of a good feeling from it. It felt.. wrong somehow. As if it didn't even belong on this planet at all. Beyond that though, it also didn't seem like everything that he was sensing was anywhere close by, scattered to different parts of the globe.

It all felt like there was too much to absorb at once for Frankenstein. He had to focus on one thing at a time. Slowly walking across the grass, he simply decided to embrace the strangeness, yet simultaneously oddly beautiful landscapes that this land had to offer. Maybe he'll just run into the other beings here by chance.

TARABAK ISLAND, MALAY ARCHIPELAGO

In the midst of a seemingly-endless jungle rests a primitive house, a fire illuminating the inside through its windows. But beyond first glance, it starts to become increasingly obvious that this wasn't built by the natives on this island. The house is, in fact, the fractured upper half of a giant skull, undoubtedly belonging to one of the many kaiju who had called Tarabak Island home. Suddenly, a native boy no older than 10 runs out of the doorway, modified from the fallen beast's nasal cavity. As he disappears into the vast wilderness, he sees an orange spot in the ground. It looks quite familiar to him. Could it be... It is! The child crouches down and scoops up the dirt surrounding this strange colorful mark, positioning his thumbs over it as to not let his catch escape. His fingers spread out to let the dirt fall, revealing what he had really caught; a frog, large enough to barely even fit in his palm.

He rotates the amphibian in his hands a bit, examining it. It'd been quite a while since he had seen one of these things. The kid turns it around to look at its face, putting it uncomfortably close to his eye. At this moment, the frog's tongue springs out of its mouth right at his eye! He flinches, causing the defensive attack to hit his eyelid instead, and drops the critter. Free at last, it hops away faster than its captor could even hope to comprehend. Once he recovers, the boy sighs in disappointment before continuing into the jungle. He decides to head to the river nearby and walk down it. But while he's on his way, he's suddenly met with a gust of wind and a blinding light harsh enough to bathe the entire area in its luminescence. The child's eyes take a moment to adjust but once they do, he's quick to notice a black orb twice the size of his entire body descending to meet him. That's when it dawns on him. He's staring at a giant glowing eyeball. And it's staring right back.

The boy snaps out of his initial shock and screams in terror. Almost immediately, the goliath returns the favor by letting out a roar loud enough to cause a shockwave that sends the kid flying. He lands pretty roughly, sticks on the ground branding his upper body with scars upon impact. However, he's able to get up in time to see the kaiju get up and advance towards him. Stricken with fear, he turns around and starts bolting back to his home. As he hears booming footsteps behind him, the boy starts shouting in his native tongue for his father to come save him. He should still be out gathering food so maybe, he'll hear his pleas! The boy's tears start to cloud his vision and then, he's suddenly met with a faceful of dirt. Coughing from the fall, he looks back and realizes his foot has gotten caught on a stick. The area around him starts getting dark and the sound of heavy breathing is now right above him. He lets out one final, desperate scream for help before curling into a fetal position, sobbing profusely.

He closes his eyes and tries to prepare his juvenile mind for the afterlife when suddenly, his ears are assaulted by a cacophany of sound. The ground rupturing beside him, trees getting uprooted and thrown yards upon yards away, and most curiously, the giant beast yelping. A loud thud is heard far away, followed by a faint echo of his assailant's roar. The boy cautiously opens his eyes, only to see the sun shining through an immeasurable amount of airborne dust. He rises back to his feet and hears dirt shifting to his side. When he whips around to view the cause of this sound, he pauses for a moment and then slowly looks upward. A giant, almost-feminine figure stands above him, a collar of flower petals obscuring the silhouette of her head. The boy recognizes this being instantly and his face shifts to one of unadulterated glee and disbelief. He says only one word; "Rohanna!"

Tallassee, Florida, USA

"Open fire!"

Bam!

Boom!!

"SHROOOOOOOOONNNNNKKKKKK!!!"

An ear-splitting roar filled the panicked streets of Tallassee, as the Ancient Godzilla made landfall by the Apalachee Bay and already had made it to the city as the monstrous Titan was met by resistance by the United States Coast Guard as they attempted to deter the creature and fired an assault with every weapon they had.

"Attempted" being the key word, as Ancient Godzilla shrugged off the attacks and offered that roar of warning against trying. It could so easily reduce this paltry force to dust had it decided to, but its focus was on a more looming threat to the natural order. A creature to the West that it senses, it had not known what it was or its purpose but Ancient Godzilla knew it needed to be dealt with as it continued to walk right through the heart of the city on its path.

Each mammoth step the creature took caused the street itself to crack as its great girth was enough to bring ruin to the pavement, a panicked population attempted to flee underground while some armored cars were forced back and one unlucky soul was smacked aside by a tail as it crashed into a building in a fiery demise.

Soon a pair of jets from the US Air Force flew by and fired missiles which exploded along the side of the beast, this caused Ancient Godzilla to roar out in irritation but that was all the damage seemed to do. The jets attempted to circle back for another round but this time a slow hum built up as the spines on this Godzilla's back began to shine an ominous blue as it took a deep breath...

BOOM!!!

The jets were lit up and soon blown to pieces by a single stream of its atomic breath, this along with the stomping of an armored car caused a retreat of the defense force as they needed to regroup and Ancient Godzilla continued its march. One that would aim to take it out of Florida and on a path with an invader from afar. One it seemed determined to stop no matter what.

Venezuala, South America

Well, things went sour pretty fast..

Not long after Frankenstein emerged from the depths, the Brazilian military immediately went into action. Underestimating how powerful The Modern Prometheus was, however, they weren't only outclassed in strength.. They were also outclassed in speed. Constant running in the underground had made Frankenstein's muscles work like almost no other lifeform on Earth, and he quickly crossed the distance from the Amazon Rainforest to Venezuela; all the while ignoring the tanks and planes as they fired. The explosions on his form did nothing to slow him down, and anything that didn't get out of the way was either crushed or swatted out of the sky. For Frankenstein felt like he had no reason to waste his time fighting off insects.

Although.. He did feel someone's presence. Across this large, strange, blue moving body, which made only the smallest of noises

The military held their fire, not knowing what the abomination would do next. The Modern Prometheus hesitated at first, but eventually, one Rhinocerotoidea foot slowly stepped into the waves. Followed by the next. Then the other foot lurched further in, until he no longer felt land beneath him. And it was only then Frankenstein realized what he had walked into. He knew what water was, but the caves were dark. Never did he realize that that underneath the light of the strange, golden orb above that it had such a wonderful color!

Yet again, he found himself wondering what else he could have possibly missed all of these years ago. Or why he never found a way to access it till now.

Well, perhaps it didn't matter. Using his arms and legs to move him forward, Frankenstein moved out of South America and further north. Something was causing a ruckus up ahead, and he needed to find it.. Even if that meant to FIGHT it.

King Joe marched forward with a singular focus, something far off east that he could detect. His radars went berserk, picking up lots of sentient chatter. Some intelligent life forms. Maybe the dominant species. No matter.

His heavy footsteps left small craters in of themselves, and his black shiny armour reflected sunlight in all directions.

Then, again, his radar went crazy again. The metal behemoth felt a disturbance. Whatever it was, it gave off a signature that reeked of radiation. King Joe chirped, before splitting into his 4 constituent parts, flying away into the barren blue sky with a thick trail of white smoke.

He would find whatever this insult to radar was, and eliminate it. For Pedan.

Florida/Alabama Border, USA

Ancient Godzilla's march continued as it left the city of Tallassee behind and was approaching the border that divided Florida with Alabama. The large Titan's steps caused a rumble as its march, it had moved rather slowly almost methodically but due to its sheer size each step made up a lot of ground. Which explained how it neared the border so relatively quickly after it had docked down.

It continued on west, and while the US Military prepared a defense just outside of Dothan, Alabama where Ancient Godzilla was expected to arrive in soon enough Ancient Godzilla's focus was elsewhere. This invasive presence out west that needed to be disposed of.

Whatever it was Ancient Godzilla sensed it was approach, it would not be long before their paths crossed and soon it could restore proper balance to the world.

San Diego, California, USA

"RAAAAAAGGGGG!!!"

Bang! Bang!! BANG!

George seemed to grow even larger, nearing a solid 20 feet tall and thus no longer could stay in its exhibit. Davis had realized as such had tried to calm George while they prepared to move him, but a mysterious group came and offed to due the dee. Now George was placed in a large cage to be flown to a more suitable enclosure as this group, some people representing Monarch, desired to "aid" George in their pitch to the caretaker. Davis much to his frustration was kept in the dark of exactly where they'd take George and how they'd help but he was told he could come along which he really had nothing more he could ask at this stage.

George however was unhappy, the now mutated ape seemed to bang the cage he was inside as his great strength already caused some bars to bend. A couple of Monarch guards prepared some tranquilizers only for Davis to step in. "Stand down you're gonna get him more riled up!" Davis yelled out before he moved to George to make eye contact with his friend.

"Easy George, easy, we're gonna go take you to a place where you can get help. I am not going anywhere. Just...just breath a bit." Davis said with a sensitive voice and in spite of the alterations to George one thing that had not changed was the trust and security it felt with Davis around, and slowly the rampaging ape seemed to calm down.

Before long, Davis went with the Monarch operatives as George's cake was lowered to a large and rather specialized jet and the group took off to well, to who knows where far as Davis had been concerned. George in turn simply tried to keep itself calm even as his size had slowly continued to increase...

Godzilla had done it, the government buildings had been destroyed, but now his attention turned towards the citizens, the most hateful of the ghosts had finally taken complete control, and now they were going to target the citizens of Tokyo. Godzilla began to stomp and fire atomic breath after atomic breath at the people of Japan, knowing that nothing would stop him, for now.

*Ruins of Shadow Basin (Pacific Rim: The Black)*

Two giant metal figures appeared, colors inverting until their regular hues showed. "Ugh, my head! What was that, where am I?" asked the voice of Alex Rosewater. "Wait, Big Fau, how are you in mint condition? I though Big O wiped out half of you?" Alex turned the megadues to observe his surroundings, then saw a light pink figure that looked awfully familiar, with someone inside that Rosewater knew, "Alan, is that you?" asked the chairman. "Wha- where am I? Wait, Rosewater, is that you?!" said the voice of Alan Gabriel. "Yes, it is me, but where are we, I thought you were dead," said Rosewater. "I thought I was too, but... WAIT!" Alan shouted as he saw the wires that had "killed" him, but as he looked down at the center panel of the cockpit, he saw words materialize, saying "Cast in the name of God, ye not guilty". "Huh, I guess I'm not going to die this time," said the maniac. "Well, that is certainly good to know, but for now, maybe we should figure out where the Hell we are," stated Rosewater. And so they began their search, not knowing what was to come.

The coast of Florida

Frankenstein neared the location of his target, now only miles away. He held his breath as he dove deep under water, gills unfortunately something Frankenstein never thought of giving him for whatever reason. Still, he knew an incoming conflict was coming close; but he wouldn't engage quite yet. Matter of fact, now was the perfect time to try something.

Swimming a bit further up, yet not too close to the point he could be seen, Frankenstein suddenly lifted his crocodilian tail above the sea, before slamming it back down with such force that it instantly caused a title wave to form behind him. If the opponent made the first move and dove into the sea with him, then perhaps he could get in a surprise attack if he hid again quick enough. If they stayed put and were smart enough to not fall for the obvious bait, however, this fight would have to go closer to shore.

The native boy stands idle, astounded by the visual his mind is being confronted with. He had heard of Rohanna and the nurture she bestowed upon his elders when they needed it most but he had never seen her in-person, let alone this close! Her rose bud-like head slowly tilts downwards to glance at him, seemingly having heard his joyful exclamation. This slight connection between man and beast is cut short, however, as a roar brings Rohanna's attention back to the area in front of her. Far away, a small area of jungle forest has been flattened, no doubt due to the ambush that had taken place just a few moments ago. As the dust settles, the beast responsible for the child's recent torment is revealed. It rolls off of its side, supporting its beige caterpillar-esque body with four primary limbs. Assuming a bipedal stance, the maned monstrosity brandishes rod-like "hands" and lets out a harsh battle cry. Eyestalks protrude from its upper lip and give off an unblinking stare. Rohanna's eyes narrow as she watches the creature. She knew for sure that it wasn't native to Tarabak Island but its strange visage confirms to her that it didn't even come from this planet. The ancient monarch starts to advance towards her opponent, imitating a humanoid stride despite her lack of true legs.

Gabura pounces, only to be met with a blow from Rohanna's thorned fist. It recovers surprisingly fast, landing perfectly on all fours before growling at the floral goddess. The humanoid flower embeds her hand into the ground to create an advancing line of thorns but the alien beast evades this attack and circles around her at an astonishing speed. Right as it breaks its feline run and attacks, its opponent suddenly vanishes. Gabura skids to a stop, confused. However, its low-set eyes catch wind of a flower bed growing in width directly below it. That's when Rohanna rises from the ground, punching her otherworldly foe high into the air. This time, it hits the ground hard. Rohanna leaps over, attemping a Superman punch when her opponent's whip-like tail suddenly wraps around her fist and yanks her into the ground. Gabura rears up on its hind legs and prepares to take advantage of his opponent's compromising position but Rohanna gets up way faster than expected. The two combatants end up smacking each other in the face, both staggering backwards as a result. However, the alien beast recovers first and bites the island deity on her shoulder. After a short struggle, Rohanna manages to get Gabura off of her at the expense of some botanical "flesh". The queen of Tarabak Island looks at her damaged shoulder, clutching it with her opposite hand. She then looks at her opponent, who is already back on its feet. Rohanna whips out her arm, which has unfurled into a mess of thorned vines. Gabura runs at its opponent, only to get thrown straight into a mountain. Not even before its body hits the ground, Rohanna immediately disappears under the ground and speeds towards its location.

Gabura weakly gets up, any resolve to fight replaced with fear. She's far too powerful, continuing this fight would be a death wish! It backs away when suddenly, giant vines emerge from the ground and ensnare it. Rohanna slowly ascends from the ground in front of Gabura, maintaining eye contact with it. The alien kaiju tries to escape but every move it makes causes its restraints to tighten. Rohanna is not amused in the slightest. In an instant, Gabura's frustrated roars are suddenly replaced with a painful wheeze. Blood cascades down all around the alien beast's body and its head falls to the ground, seperate from its body. The vines retract into the island dirt, their purpose having been served well. However, the battle isn't quite over yet. Gabura's eyes dart to look at its "killer", for it is still alive. The extraterrestrial's decapitated head starts to hover a few feet off the ground before rocketing into the air. A couple of giant vines suddenly erupt from the ground and coalesce into a mace, which Rohanna quickly grabs and swings in the direction of Gabura. This attack hits its mark, reducing the flying head to airborne viscera in a cloud of red mist. The floral monarch waits for a moment to make sure the coast is clear before putting the club down.

She takes a moment to stare at her fallen foe. While one would believe this is a gesture of respect, it's quite the opposite. Rohanna is disgusted, disgusted that an alien's blood and guts have soiled her island. Normally, she'd let a deceased opponent's body stay and act as vital resources for plants and animals alike but this... this is a special case. She had to dispose of this abomination's remains. The Pikki could easily destroy whatever remained of Gabura's head but its body would take too long. And so, she takes matters into her own hands by swinging the mangled carcass by its tail and throwing it into the stratosphere. When its upward momentum starts to decrease, she compacts her club into a more aerodynamic shape and chucks it at the body for a well-needed boost out of her sight. And with that done, Rohanna ventures out to the island's shore. She has to clean Gabura's postmortem filth off and there's no way she'll allow the island's water supply to be contaminated in the process. But as she descends into the ocean, her movement comes to a sudden stop. The queen has sensed something terribly wrong, far from the island. With a sudden urgency, Rohanna dives into the sea and leaves the confines of her island.

Whatever that meteor was, it shouldn’t ruin the day, should it? No, this was a time to enjoy himself, and enjoy the company of the ones he loves, his friends and most importantly, his son. The hot sand was soothing on his feet, and the soft, cool breeze seeped it’s way into all the bumps and ridges of his hide. What a time to be alive.

Godzilla watched as the denizens of Monsterland played and hunted, catching whatever sea life they could find within the inland sea, and gobbling it up in the blink of an eye. Rodan snacked on dolphins on top of a nearby mountain, Anguirus, Baragon and Varan played in the sand, Gorosaurus and Kumonga were squabbling, and most importantly, his son was learning to hunt, dragging a Humpback whale by it’s tail onto the beach to eat. It’s a little too big for him, Godzilla thought.

Despite the good life he’s enjoyed for so many years now, he couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was wrong. He felt panic, pain, anguish and sorrow, and most of all, dread. O, how Godzilla hated dread. It was something he’d felt for many years. He dreaded humanity, he dreaded King Ghidorah, and for a while, he dreaded himself. It was not a nice feeling, and Godzilla did not want anyone else to experience it. Should he go? It was a tough question. On one hand, he had a relaxed life where he could raise his son in peace. On the other, Godzilla felt needed, felt that he could help people, and most of all, he felt he could prove his worth in battle. Oh, what to do!

Looking back at Minya, his eyes turned to sorrow. He knew what he was going to do. Godzilla fired his atomic breath, roasting the whale Minya caught. Giving a faint grumble to his friends, Godzilla said goodbye, and to his son, a final hug before departure. Godzilla would miss his friends, but he knows it would all be worth it in the end. With a faint smile, Godzilla’s dorsal spines lit up a blue hue, and he curled up like a shrimp.

Firing his ray towards the ground, he propelled himself into the sky. Steering his massive body through the sky, he followed the trajectory of the meteor, knowing eventually, he would find what was going on. Godzilla would help those in need, and prove himself.

For now, he was done being a father. It was time for the King.

Mississipi

King Joe shot forward, his trail of white smoke ominously floating above the countryside and towns. Scanning over the horizon, King Joe picked up many small signatures. Those of armed vehicles. Whatever the larger signature was, it had something to do with these smaller ones.

Dothan, Alabama

Having crossed the border into Alabama, Ancient Godzilla's march continued. A rumble seemed to rock the countryside with each massive step, over and over again as this behemoth continued its advance west. It only paused as the creature oddly glanced backwards, picking up a scent of sea life docked by the distant Florida coast. This Titan seemed to sense another creature, if it decided to tag along it better not get in its way otherwise it would not hesitate to strike it down.

As the armored forces, the military of the United States prepared to defend the nearby city of Dothan while evacuations were held, Ancient Godzilla continued its march forward. There was not a single man or woman in this defensive line who had not felt the chill crawl along their spines as the prospect of fighting such a massive beast. The realization they'd all likely die in this futile effort was rising, yet they remained committed to their duty to least try to stall this beast to allow the city to evacuate.

Helicopters, tanks, armored rockets and cars all prepared to attack Godzilla as he stepped within range. Yet, Ancient Godzilla seemed to suddenly stop, it had eyed the line of human defenders, but its gaze shifted over to the distant horizon. An intensity seemed to grew as air seemed to blow out its nostrils aggressively at some unseen entity.

"D-did that big guy just...stop?" A female soldier with a rocket launcher asked, as she like many of the other soldiers were confused why Ancient Godzilla seemed to suddenly stop.

"I have no idea..." A male soldier said next to her, before it seemed they were briefed on something. Seemed another large boogie was approaching their area off the Mississippi skyline as an unidentified object was soon to arrive. And whatever this invading force from the skies was seemed to be what Ancient Godzilla had been trailing as it stood and waited for it to come. Taking a deep breath, it roared out to the coming entity that dared to upset the natural balance of this world and made it clear it was determined to bring it down when it came.

"SHRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOONNNNNNNKKKK!!!

Tokyo, Japan

Little did Godzilla know, another monster was in the very same metropolis as him. A massive stone structure brought to life, Agamo let out a growl when this far taller reptile entered his line of vision from miles away. Agamo ripped off a good portion of a nearby office building, measuring the distance before throwing it in the direction of the undead King at least that was the hope at first glance....

TOKYO, JAPAN

Between the chaos, the sense of dread and war that emanated from the undead King of Monsters who stood within the carnage and destruction in his wake, and the gigantic behemoth of stone who rose to fend off the demon in his sight, the winds swirling between the rubble and ruin. The calm yet forceful gales picked up in speed and intensity as a shadow passed overhead. What was this third wheel into this grand spectacle that was about to begin? That remained to be seen...
