Re: Official Ultraman Decker Thread
This is going to make me sound really dumb but was that guy Asuka? I haven't seen any Heisei shows just yet.

Re: Official Ultraman Decker Thread
Nope, not Asuka. I have no idea who this new Decker host guy is. But as Decker is a Dyna tribute series,
I expect Asuka/Dyna to show up at some point, especially since he has the ability to travel to different universes like Zero and Cosmos. Probably more towards the end of the series. Also it will hopefully be more than a nominal cameo like Tiga was in Trigger, but of course we know the reason for that.

That was probably the best overall episode since the Z finale. Things just got real interesting.

Re: Official Ultraman Decker Thread
The latest episode was another good one! In regards to Decker's new version, I like it as an Ultraman, but not as another version of Decker. And that new weapon is just another money grab...***sigh***
I am looking forward to learning more about the new (old) Decker host.

Apparently I missed that Professor Asakage was also Zero’s host in Revenge of Belial

Okay catching up! Episode 14 was really good! I was starting to get suspicious of someone and I was like 'hmmm playing up the 'we're doing great!' angle.' Plus kinda mid-season finale around 14-15 typically.
And got started on 15.
Yeah things got pretty spicy.

Re: Official Ultraman Decker Thread
Latest episode was solid. I typically don't care for the classic Pandon look, but I like what they did with the lil ball form and how they worked him in without the need of more alien invaders. The camera work was just amazing in some of those shots of the cast firing at him from the ground.
Looks like the next episode will feature Metsu Orochi in some capacity, perhaps in a flashback. Adult Murluru looks... like a typical Metron. Kind of surprised by that. And, Gomess gets a new episode. He hasn't been in anything since... what, Z? I wonder if this will also have more Godzilla vibes. Much like the Gomess episode of X did way back when, debuting in November and the same week as Nov. 3. The trailer showed him catch Dynamic's sword with his mouth... So I expect this Gomess is going to be another big Godzilla homage.

Another solid episode to process all the big stuff that happened the previous two episodes.

I liked this episode, even if Pandon having a cute baby form feels a bit wrong. Next week, though? Investigation from the Past is shaping up to be a crazy one and I'm looking forward to it.

I think Investigation from the Past might be one of my favorite episodes not just of Decker but all of the Ultraman series I've seen so far.

Re: Official Ultraman Decker Thread
Episode was okay. Think I hyped myself up on Gomess' return a bit too much. Was really hoping he'd have been empowered like the Gomess in X and give Decker a harder fight as a Godzilla stand-in. Still better than every episode of Trigger. Next episode is a recap episode. Le sigh.

I wasn’t as hyped for this week’s but it was still decent. Given where the series is at I don’t feel like we’re as close to the back end yet, feels like it’s closer to the halfway point.

Re: Official Ultraman Decker Thread
ok, so am I crazy? Yesterday when I watched the new episode, the Yapool first referred to himself as a "Demon" according to the subs, but then later in the same episode, I thought he said he had a different name? (Other than Yapool), but when I watched it again this morning, sure enough he just said "Yapool".
