I feel like the Godzilla franchise could do with a few new 'mid-tier' monsters, neither especially weak or strong but powerful enough to give a typical Godzilla a decent fight. Think your Gigans and Megalons and Showa Rodans; that level. More specifically, I'd like them to be of terrestrial origin and have some flashy powers; most of the Earth monsters in this weight class are fairly naturalistic in their abilities. So something like a Barugon or a Neronga. The MUTOs came close, but their EMPs weren't useful against enemy kaiju.

A few more outlandish alien kaiju would be great, too, although I don't know how likely those are these days.
