Presumably, they're looking to celebrate the anniversaries of the Jet Jaguar and Megalon characters, perhaps similarly to the way that they celebrated the Hedorah anniversary.

And if we do get those, wow, what a turnaround from the 1980s/1990s when that movie was considered the absolute nadir of the franchise.

As for Gigan, I wonder if we'll get an eye beam effect or an interchangeable "in motion" saw effects part.

While it hasn't been common, we have occasionally gotten Monsterarts multipacks like Mothra/Rodan or the Hedorah set. Since Jet Jaguar is comparatively 'simple' for MonsterArts, closer to an Ultraman figure, maybe they would pair him and Megalon together for a two-pack release?

...now that I think of it, I'd actually go for that.

If Gigan comes with accessories and effect parts instead of just another bare bones release, then chances are that Jet Jaguar and Megalon will too and justify each being a separate release.

Given his similarity to Ultraman, is there any chance Jet Jaguar might be a Figuarts, or maybe an SHMA x Figuarts release? The Singularity JJ was just SHMA, so probably not, but his design is also really different from Ultraman.

As beautiful as that Gigan looks we all should know by now to wait until these things finally come out to really judge them.

I think it looks gorgeous but my MonsterArts days are long over.
