Or, you know, a simple brawler. They did well enough before. The 2015 game was good for a fan, but it was too authentic for the GA. From what I remember DAMM got a lot of wide appeal because of how easy to pick up and play it was.

Apparently there rumors on reddit that some one is making a 2d godzilla fighting game to go along with godzilla vs king kong. Don't know if its true but here is a link to a news piece about it.

Man, if SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom can get a remake/remaster then surely Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee or Save the Earth can too. Someone needs to get THQ Nordic in contact with Toho.

Not a bad idea. There`s plenty of decent games with specific IPs with asymmetrical multiplayer. You could have players control tanks (or maybe mutants from final wars) or try to complete a specific task (like set up the ANEB trap).
As a normal citizen the game should feel like an extreme survival game. You should get survival points for each minute you stay alive. With survival points you should be able to buy or unlock kaijus.
As a soldier you should be able to level up from an ordinary foot soldier to a tank pilot, a helicopter pilot, a jet pilot, a Super X pilot (together with other players) and finally a Mechagodzilla, Moguera or Kiryu pilot (endgame).
As a kaiju you should be forced to hold rest periods so you have to play as a human from time to time.

This was my idea behind my first post...

They need to make DAMM & STE backwards compatible on the Xbox One already... own both. Sitting less than 2 feet away from my Xbox One.
... Godzilla lives inside each one of us.

I'm still holding out hope for the next Godzilla game pretty much being a less broken Unleashed on every console, with KOTM characters and Shin being playable monsters. Also now would be the perfect time to get Kong in it because Legendary could give the rights to whoever gets to make it.

Added in 3 minutes 41 seconds:
Also i want Zilla in it,it's way past time for him to appear in one of these games.

A modern next gen Destroy All Monsters/STE/Unleashed styled game would be sick. If it's an American made game I guarantee G14-19 would be the main character in story mode, So that means we'd probably get the rest of the story/crew in their Monsterverse skins, and like in Mortal Kombat, we'd be able to change them.

On the more likely Bandai scenario, it'd probably be the Shin universe, I can't see them going back to Heisei (unless it's a skin or just a whole other character like in the old games), since they just did that with the PS4 game. I wonder what new kaiju we'd get, maybe the 3D Shin Ghidorah from the EVAxG event and some EVA DLC, but what new kaiju would TOHO/Bandai add?

Everyone wants another fighter, why not an adventure game instead? Godzilla isn't just about fighting other monsters, he also travels a lot, destroying armies and cities. You can still have other monsters as bosses.

But speaking of fighters, I wish Battle Legends and Monster War would get a digital remaster you can buy and download from Playstation store, etc. Kind of like Darkstalkers Resurrection. And maybe add new modes for Battle Legends that allow you to play as other monsters outside of PVP vs, like against the CPU. Not everyone has friends who will play a Godzilla fighter and it'll attract the fighting game tournaments.

My dream godzilla game would be a rouge lite. You start off traveling around japan, and as you advance you grow in powers. The more powerful you become/the more land you explore, the more monsters you come across. However, when you die, you have to start all over, but you get too keep some upgrades. So beating the game means going through all it offers in one run, traveling the various locations, and defeating the different monsters.

It would be cool if we get a Monsterverse Videogame. Maybe a open world Skull Island game where you are a Monarch Agent. You can change from The Monarch Agent to Kong. You fight Skull Crawlers as Kong too. Idk just an idea.

Gacha mobile puzzler and the Kaiju are all anime girls.
Drink 32oz of water a day, exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, take your meds as prescribed, eat healthy (count calories), reach out to your support network when you need them, practice basic hygiene, learn from your mistakes, forgive yourself for your failures, admit when you're wrong, be humble when you're right, be nice to animals, and try again.

The best idea for a fighting game would be to build off of what Pipeworks did with DAMM and STE. Neither of those really realized their potential, but the foundation was solid as hell. Keep the control configuration, maybe make the buildings less obstructive and closer to Unleashed, and shoot for 60fps like DAMM (that’s the game’s unspoken greatest advantage over STE). And I’m not asking for a giant roster, either. Let’s be realistic. Just give us a variety of fighter types.

Let's try an adventure game.

Quantum gaming is gonna be a thing in the coming years, which means they can handle a big world with destructibles better.

How would you guys feel if the next Godzilla game had a "create a kaiju" option? Make your own kaiju like Sonic Forces.

The buildings were the best in GDAMM. They were laid out like realistic cities, and aside from destroying them you could throw them and bounce them off of opponent's skulls, or throw opponents and have them face plant into the larger buildings. Pipeworks removed these aspects one by one with each game until buildings were no longer fun in Unleashed and they finally went "Screw it! Apocalyptic environments!" and each stage had like four buildings apiece.

Might be possible with the new X Box Series X and PS5, they're gonna use Solid State Drives so they can handle larger loads at once than past systems. To put it in perspective, computers have had them for years and game developers for game systems have been asking for game systems to have them for years.

The problem is do they want to make a Godzilla open world game. Cause I feel we're gonna get another casino slot machine (wish I was joking) or a mobile phone game before that.

With the option to be as benevolent/violent as you want? I'd be for it.
