Oh-ho! Time to bring back this ungodly tradition of mine!

What're your plans for the big guy's 68th birthday? Tomorrow's the day, and a bigger one than usual since Toho is finally being engaging! I'll be going to a screening of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and have posted a new video commemorating the film's 20th anniversary. Can't wait to see the new Gigan short too.

I’ll be watching the new Gigan short and Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla with my kids in our home theater.

Not super excited about spacegodzilla (it’s my least favorite Godzilla movie besides GINO) but it’s our next film up in our Heisei series watch through.

I'll be doing something different than my usual viewing of Gojira. I'll be watching G vs Gigan, and catching the Gigan short.

-Have lunch at a local Japanese restaurant called 'Sumo Sushi & Grill' (where I also had lunch last November 3rd).

-Watch 'Gojira', the Gigan shorts, and other Godzilla related YouTube videos.

-Drink Dr. Pepper.

-Have a couple of snickers for dessert.

Nice. :lol: I wish I'd thought of that. I don't have any Dr. Pepper, but I'm sure there are some Snickers left over from Halloween.

I'll be going to the mall to check out the FYE exclusive merch they rolled out for Godzilla Day. Then heading to AMC to watch Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla.

I did end up watching Shin, and also the two new shorts. I'm watching a few episodes of Return of Ultraman now, too, because why not. It's Godzilla adjacent, at least.

Decided to start a yearly tradition of watching one film from each era on Godzilla Day.

This year's picks:
Showa - Godzilla vs. Gigan
Heisei - Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
Millennium - Godzilla x Mechagodzilla
Reiwa - Godzilla: King of the Monsters or Godzilla 2014 (haven't decided yet)

At the GxMG showing now. They're doing trivia slides before the movie. One asked how many Godzilla movies has Toho released. The answer? 29.

Guess the anime trilogy doesn't count. That's hilarious.
