Godzilla x Evangelion - Collaboration

This has got me thinking, maybe there will be an animated short of Godzilla fighting Eva's that plays before Shin Gojira. Like how the Pokemon movies had shorts before the main movie or how the Kiryu films had Hamtaro shorts play in front of them.

I think the creators are just slapping around fun concepts. Having fun with the toys. Whatever sells, sells.

Granted if they're making this much merch it's prolly selling over there like hotcakes.

We would have heard something by now because that would be a huge draw. The recent Evangelion movies have done extremely well, and probably a reason they're pushing the collaboration to help boost sales. A anime short would be huge and something I'm surprised they aren't doing.

Godzilla and WonderFest share a special connection. The first garage kit event was held in 1984, the same year Godzilla was "resurrected." The first film for the so-dubbed "Heisei Godzilla" was The Return of Godzilla released in December 1984.
