Not counting kaiju movies because there are already a ton of threads for those. These are all perfect or near perfect movies that resonated something within me and struck a special chord that no other movie can do. I feel like I'm forgetting some, so this post may be edited later. Also, some of these I haven't seen in years, so I don't know if my young mind idealized some of these movies to something greater than they actually are. Eh, doesn't matter now.

20th Century Boys 3: Redemption (2009)
Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Day of the Dead (1985)
Jurassic Park (1993)
The Avengers (2012)

All of the following I gave a 10/10. At first they were a mere list, but then the idea came to me and I thought "why compare movies from different genres and goals with different audiences in mind? That is not fair to the people that worked on them, regardless of effort." With that in mind I decided to divide them up into genres with favorites on top going down. Minor disclaimers: I have not seen the Halloween remakes, I have seen Rambo 4, I have seen Underworld: Rise of The Lycans but not the fourth movie, I have seen Robocop 3 and the four television movies with the reboot, I have not seen Men in Black 3 (yet, but I have it on my DVR), I have seen Fellowship of The Ring and An Unexpected Journey, I have seen the first seven Howling movies yet not the reboot, I have yet to see Resident Evil 5, I have seen all five of Nu Pictures's "Nature Unleashed" movies, I have seen the source material of Casshern in its entirety (Sins was horrid), and I still need to see Pirates of the Caribbean 4. 9/10 note worthy movies include: Hellraiser 5 and 7, Shapeshifter, Prom Night 3, Howling 3, Guardians of The Galaxy, the Iron Man trilogy, North, Mimic 1 (3 was bad and 2 is on the list already), the Robocop reboot, Ikiru, The Bicycle Thief, Dracula 1972 AD, The Beast of Bray Road, the first two Mega Shark movies, Sharknado 2, Hang 'Em High, Unrest (second scariest movie ever only after Paranormal Entity) and Dracula Untold.

Limited to one entry per franchise:
- Star Wars or Return of the Jedi
- Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
- Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter
- A Nightmare on Elm Street
- Halloween II (1981)
- Jurassic Park
- Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster
- Forrest Gump
- Citizen Kane or Casablanca
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -Part 1
- Back to the Future

I'm forgetting something, as I always am.
I used to be a lot more optimistic and outgoing, believe it or not. I used to actually be passionate about this stuff.
