They did a lot of things dirty in that show. For how satisfying the first season was and how good the show looked, it suffered immensely from poor writing decisions in Season 2 and a forced Hasbro toyetic mandate for Season 3. I wouldn't call it a travesty of a show but it's far from a masterpiece.

Siege, Earthrise and Kingdom are some of the best love letters to the franchise I've seen since the WFC games. I'm not understanding the disdain i've seen for it? What's the general consensus?

We got to witness Quintessons, Unicron's presence, an Endgame moment, our favorite characters met their future selves in various forms preventing them from making their same exact mistakes as G1. The Beasts and Genwunners are now back in action, etc.

The only negatives I'd say are,

Beast Megatron sounded like nails on a chalkboard, and no Hot Rod, which isn't a big deal but it would've been cool to have him at least on the roster.
It's how they use all those fun ideas and the voice acting killed the entire project for me. There's no spark. The final episode had me blurting out loud: "Oh for f*cks sake!"

I'm so hyped! I've been itching for some Transformers action. Although I do wish we got Garry Chalk back as Primal, we still haven't had him and Peter Cullen in a project together.

This actually looks good. Seems like a good blend of the existing movie aesthetic with more traditional elements, even moreso than Bumblebee. Primal looks good (could use more color tho, imo). Overall, incredibly excited!

Don't get me wrong, I want this movie to be good as much as the next person. However, I still can't help but feel anxious that it won't and it will be especially heartbreaking since it may very well be the last time we hear Cullen as Prime...

Why would you even say something like that

Man, I could sing endless praise for how well Beast Wars handles character dynamics. I just rewatched the episode where Terrorsaur gains a powerup and upsurps Megatron. But in this one episode we see the loyalty of Scorponok, the scheming nature of Tarantulas, and Waspinator just following whoever's in charge.
If there was one show that gives me BW vibes, it'd be classic Red vs Blue.

Alright the press screening was tonight and the reactions have been largely positive thus far. Many are praising the film's "heart" and the action. It's got it's rough spots and takes a bit to get going but is a worthy, if flawed, follow-up to Bumblebee.

Alright this is getting me excited!
Been seeing some fun movies again, D&D, Guardians 3 and can't wait for Spider-Verse 2 and Rise Of the Beasts.

That’s good news. The trailers looked rough to me but I’m glad it’s getting some positive reactions.

The reviews seem to be that the Autobots get alot of characterisation while the Maximals get little development other than Optimus Primal. Keep that in mind if you're a huge Beast Wars fan.

Caught a 3:00pm showing today. Had a great time! I'm a hardcore TF fan so I'm kind of biased as it had tons of callbacks and little character moments that tickled my fancy but even from the eyes of a generic moviegoer, I thought it was well-crafted. It's awesome that we have a POC-led Transformers movie that doesn't have any sort of racist humor or insensitive scenes, especially when the character travel to another continent where the culture there is represented with tact and grace.

If you're a TF fan, you'll adore it. If you're not, it's still a pretty darn good summer blockbuster.

Damn critics just don't get it. They always expect something more than just a dumb, fun popcorn film.

I mean, even a "dumb, popcorn film" can fail if anything it that's supposed to be fun falls flat.

Rise of the Beasts looks pretty good though.

G.I. Joe and Transformers comics have found a new home, publisher at Image Comics , and Robert Kirkman's Skybound Productions. In fact ,both franchises will be making their Image/Skybound debut next week in Robert Kirkman's VOID RIVALS#1.
