We're still working on that as well. Basically, now that I've finally graduated from college, Lobsterdance is working on film 24/7, finishing up lots of old projects and bringing out several new ones as well. I am very sorry for the delay on MechaSorta but that whole production has been a bit of a clusterf*ck since day one, back when we didn't know nearly as much about filmmaking as we did now. We're still determined to finish it this summer or fall though and it's the result is going to be a rather curious cinematic chimera, to say the least. The main difference between this film and MechaSorta is that this is a ten-minute piece of silliness, while MechaSorta is about forty minutes of plot-driven silliness. XD

So yeah. XD

Keep in mind that Lobsterdance has not been dormant in the time between the announcement of Sorta 3 and now. We've released about six other films between then and now! Not that anyone cares but this one is my personal favorite: https://vimeo.com/49809746

This is probably going to wind up as my favorite shot in the entire film once it's finished.

For those wondering (all three of you), we're planning on shooting the remainder of this film after I wrap up principal photography on my latest short film, Alizarin, and once the weather warms up a bit more to match the currently existing footage. If everything goes well, this should be premiering at GFest at the latest!

I forgot I'd made this thread in a previous life.

It's done. I managed to locate all the footage I'd previously lost in a hard drive crash and was able to assemble a completed film out of it in 2020‐2021. I can't post a link for whatever reason but if you type 'Ultraman Sorta vs. Godzilla' into the YouTube search bar, it's easy enough to find. Enjoy our stupid film, y'all.
