Ever be on the verge of bidding on an auction and your internet craps out?

Happened to me a couple days ago and I lost a 1971 Hedo-Goji. So incredibly angry and frustrated. I had my heart set on that guy and POOF, internet craps out.

Edit: FOUND! Thanks to a fellow named Chris Cope on The Facebook Vinyl Kaiju Madness group I was able to snag another one offa eBay super quick tonight! Huzzah!

I'm trying to sell a Marusan Varan figure. It's the green spray variant.

Anyone interested? I figure if there was ever a good place to ask, it was here.

Is the green spray variant the one pictured there or a different version?

I'm very interested!

Hey guys/Marusan fans! I finally posted a sneak peek of my animated Godzilla film online. All of the figures used are Marusan or Marusan molds so I decided to post the link here as well. Hope you enjoy what I have so far!

Thanks guys! Glad you're enjoying it (and I have a lot more finished, I'm just holding off until it's completely done). It is actually very fun to use Marusan figures for a short film. They look awesome on camera!
And as for the GI Joes, I'm trying to have some cool military scenes and interaction with the monsters because it's something normally left out of Godzilla animations.

Just wondering...

Other than the picture on ClubTokyo, does an Angilas exist that isn't the b&w or glow version?

http://www.clubtokyo.org/listings/itemL ... tentID=918

I've never seen a brown/gold one and I neeeed it.

Yeah, it exists but it's difficult to find. http://www.vinylmaddness.com/Marusan02.jpg
I've got the Marusan USA version but never was able to track down the Japanese release.

I'm new entirely to the Marusan line and basically all stylized figures in general but I feel in love with Marusan's MG74 sculpt. However, before I pull the trigger I came across unpainted Marusan's for preorder on HLJ, them being just unpainted black molds. I'm entirely new to the scene of these types of figures and i'm used to my figures painted :P Fittingly enough, MG looks good in glossy black. I do have a few questions though. Do you just collected the unpainted figures or are they sold to spur creativity in people to paint them themselves. Or a mix of both. A question for those who own a Marusan MG74, does he have any articulation cuts or is he solid sculpt and how tall is he? Thanks in advanced, I look forward to getting a hold of one of these bad boys soon.

I'm also going to get the black MG coming out next year too. I think the mold looks good in glossy black, though I am no lover of blank figures. I managed to actually stumble upon a bag of 3 multicoloured hued mechagodzillas once. They are about the average height of a art figure, about 8-9 inches. I think closer to 9 since i was surprised they were so large.

I feel the same way. The mold looks happens to look stellar in a glossy black but I prefer my figures with some paint apps. Thank you, it's good to know about the height. So he should fit in with my Marmit then. If all goes smoothly, I should be able to Pre-order him soon. I also looked at their Black Object Mogera as well. Like MG, I really dig that sculpt.

Probably my favorite Marusan figure, Megalon, posing with Gigabrain Ghidorah.

And a couple Marusan Gameras chilling with a Para Baby zigra.

Well this thread certainly deflated due to the hacking that happened... Anybody got any reposts of whoever's posts here were deleted?

I've been on a toss up of whether I should get a king goji marusan or not. I like the colours of the bbts variant but, surprisingly I really don't like the face of the marusan all that much. Other godzillas no probs but that one just doesn't look quite right :/ I'm not sure if its just the photos or the angles, I want to like it but eh. Does anyone have a flattering picture of one?

You aren't wrong. The King Goji face looks a little off. It's still a great figure even though it's not "spot on".

Hoping to discover a Varan in this line, only painted.

I ordered the black series MG from Hobby Search. I think it looks good and for $40, I can't complain.
