Re: General Gashapon/Small Figurine Thread
Oh man, I really like that Toho weapon set. I've always wanted a Super X, I might have to pick up that set.
Is there a good website for ordering the Ultraman sets? I see some on eBay, but they are pretty pricey. I'm mostly interested in the buildings. I've been painting them up and they come out great. Wish I could post a pic here.

Thanks, I see that now. The Japanese kanji lists it as “怪獣総進撃” DAM’s title, hence why I thought that. So even despite the differences it very much is a DAM set.WarpedBandicoot99 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 1:11 amhttps://parks2.bandainamco-am.co.jp/cat ... 45373.html
Still, this is neat. I don’t think we’ve ever had an explicit Gorosaurus 1967 figure!

The original 30cm Xplus was the 1967 version, as was the 1993 Bandai, since the tag used a photo from KKE.LSD Jellyfish wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 1:07 pmThanks, I see that now. Thanks for sharing this site. Nice to actually know when these release.WarpedBandicoot99 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 5:02 am https://parks2.bandainamco-am.co.jp/cat ... 80984.html
The third new Godzilla gashapon set!
Another G1999…okay. But Mothra and Battra are nice.
Baby Godzilla is definitely the “chase figure” here. What’s cool is that it’ll probably scale nicely with some of the MMS bandais. Baby Godzilla rarely gets merch so this is neat.

I saw Japan twitter laughing at the random Millennium G in the Heisei set. Good looking gacha, though. The Mothra/Battra would be great display pieces if they stick to their stands firmly.

Won the new Baby Godzilla in an eBay auction for less than $10, should be here no later than Saturday.

lol Godzilla ‘99 looks terrible with that oversized head. Everything else looks really strong though. Haven’t seen a decent Baby Godzilla in awhile!

Yes, it's a great set overall, but that G'99 looks like it's part of a set from the 90s...

Size DOES matter!

Re: General Gashapon/Small Figurine Thread
Forgot to mention, I was at the Brooklyn Bandai Cross store a few days ago. I asked about the recent HG series, and they haven't had it since they opened. I was pretty stunned considering how many machines they have, and that some elsewhere have found this series in stateside machines for awhile. (I assume they would have mentioned the tote bag series were those to have been received.)
They have several UM series though. $8 each on average.
On another note, Oliyo, a Korean-style Deli near Herald Sq in Manhattan, have a few machines too (No Godzilla), and lotsa blindboxes and bags and have the last HG Godzilla blind bags, S7 and Hiya Godzilla stuff, etc. Nice place to stop by if in the area. (TESO Life has a store in the Sq too with a Blind Box section and tons of Gundam)

The Pre-Nuke 2023 is cool, but did they forget to paint the eyes? As someone who really likes that design, it’s a bit worrying.
Other than that though, great set. Varan, Minya, and the more animated Mothra are nice choices, while the other addition of the pre nuke form gives some added variety. Neat.
