I actually really like both those designs. I think the flippers could be explained as a mutation caused by radation exposure, if the artist wanted to take it in that direction. That KG is awesome, and has some similarities with my KG (which I promise is still being worked on. Ive been busy)

I think my only gripe would be to give Godzilla more dorsal plates. At least to the base of his tail, if you really dont want to go all the way down (which I get, that was the absolute worst part of drawing my Godzilla design)

Speaking of, I do like how the plates on your Godzilla design almost extend to his forelimbs like armor. It sort of reminds me of the osteoderms on nodosaurids in a way, just to a lesser extent.

Really like that pigmentation under his skin folds and I fancy brown Godzillas anyway so the rest is really appealing. Although, I will have to say something about the face is kinda throwing me off and I can't exactly put my finger on what.

Also, not related to the art itself but The Screaming Mountain is an incredibly raw title.

been really enjoying my buddy bornulhuu's spec evo kaiju takes, and they just recently dropped this absolute banger of a mothra design. the colors are absolutely superb and very unique for a mothra design.
a few others i really like are rodan, gorosaurus, kong, and godzilla's lineage (Godzilla, Shimo and Maguma).

I really do appreciate the adjustments he's been making to his Godzilla over time. Took what I once considered middling and turned it into something legitimately great.

yeah spino's really refined his godzilla into something that's really fucking good. manages to do dinosaur godzilla justice, and the dorsal fins with their opening up to reveal glowing gill-like vents is genuinely one of the coolest ideas in a godzilla design i've seen, period.

Not a bad design, all things considered. Feels a bit lanky, but it kinda makes it more unique in a way.
