I don't think that'll be much of an issue, really. This tournament isn't built for players to have 500 monsters on their team. If teams do get large, it'll be mostly consisting of fodder by the time Power Crystal counts get large enough to sustain it. Earth Defender monsters generally have a higher ceiling than most Mutants and Aliens due to their Evolutions and Abilities as well.

Good question! Alien items only for Aliens. Same goes for GDF and Earth Defenders (you'll notice that Miki Saegusa is an item for both GDF and Earth Defenders. There's a little bit of crossover for certain items, and those are noted by being listed in multiple shops).

Work gave me a shift tomorrow during the signup end time, so I'll set a new end time at 10 PM CST Saturday instead. I'll have the matches up later that night or the following morning. Been wishy-washy with the idea of throwing a couple "bot" teams into the mix. I'd give them a flavor of personality in how they decide where to travel to, but my major grievance would be taking glory from everybody.

Regardless, this is going to be an unexpectedly exciting first round based on where everyone has chosen to go!

We can vote now, since we're mostly in agreement. I'll amend the "50 word minimum in vote-posts" to say that, if you at least put some effort (still ~50-ish words, if warranted. Not all matches need it ) into your viewpoint, you can vote. It doesn't matter to me whether it comes in a post prior to voting, or is in the post that containing the vote. It's the random votes that have 0 context or defense to them that I want to avoid. That sort of thing defeats the purpose of this as a thought exercise, in my eyes.

When voting ends (tonight or this time tomorrow?) I'll announce the winner, ask the combatants in each match what they'll do with their rewards, and upon all responses I'll update the Regions sheet. Once that's done you all can DM me your next Location to travel to! And since I can't update the initial post any more, I'll have a spot on the spreadsheet with up-to-date team info.

Once the shop comes up there will be Monster Evolutions for each tier. To upgrade 60s Godzilla to 70s, you'll buy a Tier 4 Evolution because 70s Godzilla is Tier 4
