I...was working on Godzilla (Heisei) vs Godzilla (Showa). However, due to a technical mishap, the entire notepad app I'd been writing the story in was reset, and I lost all of my progress. I wasn't super far into it, but I'm still pretty upset about it. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to start over, or try for something different. Even when I was actively working on the match, I was beginning to doubt the direction I was taking it in. Thinking about putting it in the Match Request thread.

Spiritual Champions stuff I'm working on IDK

Destoroyah vs. IF (Effectively near the halfway point)

Ultraman Dyna vs. Monster X (Decently close to being done)

Gamera (Showa) vs. Mecha Gomora

Greeza vs. Mechagodzilla (Heisei) (won't work on this one till I get Desto v. IF and one of the other two done. Very Gurren Lagann inspired!)

Also got ideas for Zett, Verokron and Greymon but I'm not confident enough to really get gun ho on them yet

A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

I know it is late now, but ever think about writing a match in a google doc? It's a far more reliable than a document on your own personal computer (which may or may not corrupt or reset like how you unfortunately had happened) :/

Quick late update of my own:
I was able to recover my files and stuff from the Notepad, so my progress on the story has been recovered. Though your suggestion is a good one, and I think I'll do that for future matches.

Like I mentioned in my last post, I'm not very confident in my current direction for the story I'm working on right now, so I'm thinking I might just end up starting over on it anyway, or putting it in the request thread. The KWCE kind of seems like a better option for a first timer, anyway.

Maybe have someone read over what you got and give you a second opinion. I mean it can't be all bad. Maybe just some minor tweaks here and there. A second set of eyes goes a long way trust me.

I say put it on KWCE and see what others think if you aren't confident in it yourself. That might sound weird, but it'll serve as a good learning point until you're more confident to make KWC matches. That's just my two cents though, it's your match so do what you want with it.

I finished the rough draft of a fun parody match. It's inspired by those crazy Hostess fruit pies comic books from the 70's. It's the first match I've done that features a whole group of Kaiju instead of a 1 on 1. It's got a good mix of staple Kaiju like Godzilla and Kong as well as lesser used ones like Maguma. I'm going to submit it once I finish proof reading.
