Do we know if Omega's getting a dub release?

There’s no doubt it’s better than trigger, it’s just way too early to say. It needs time to show off some originality. Arc eventually got around to that but it took some time. We’ve been spoiled by Balzar episode 1.LegendZilla wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:29 amWould it help if it at least turned out better than Trigger?

Re: Ultraman Omega - General Discussion/Spoilers when they happen
Just binged both Episode 1 & 2, gotta admit both technically (effects and visuals wise) and story wise it doesn't really grab me even as much as Arc did. The characters are established more strongly but the setting isn't too strong and apart from the amnesia and mystery surrounding Omega's past, there isn't really any narrative throughline in this show in particular that grabs me. Kosei and Omega's dynamic is fun to watch but that's about the extent of appreciation I have for it, and Ayumi doesn't really endear me either. It feels like the budget is lower too, although I can't blame them given Arc wasn't exactly a financial success.
Hopefully the next few episodes find more things to do. To be fair, both these episodes are acting as establishment episodes, establishing key characters, players, and tidbits of worldbuilding, so perhaps I'm being too harsh. All I'm saying is that there isn't a lot to grab my attention and interest, and the characters aren't strong enough to pull me in yet. But time will tell. We'll just have to see.

I just watched the first two episodes. Some people dislike Arc and find it meh but I dunno I really liked that one...it was...cozy...and I remember a lot of stuff about it.
I certainly liked Arc's first episode more than Omega's. First kaiju was really cool and I like Dugrid too. Omega's design is growing on me too along with the two lead's chemistry growing on me. Doesn't grab me like Z, Decker, Blazar and Arc did but I'm gonna keep watching.

3rd episode was okay…
It was a bit disappointing to have the characters wander around the forest a bit, and honestly not much happens. However, the new monsters were cool. I hope the next episode is better.

Yeah new monster looked kind of goofy and grew up on. The helper monster Reikeiness looked really cool and a part of me was like 'damn I wanna see Omega fight that!'
I dunno not feeling Ayumu much...she's kind of just there so far. Maybe it should stay a sausage-fest between the two huh? But we'll see! Maybe she'll get better and a focus episode will really help.

Very soon, time will flash by and this show will come to an end. That's the case with every new Ultra-show nowadays.

Watched Episode 4. The kaiju was kind of cool. The head looking/moving much more like a puppet than a person-in-suit gave it some almost scary qualities, reminded me a bit if the Skeksis from Dark Crustal in a weird way lol... Based on a Therizinosaurus (is this the new popular Dinosaur?). It was an interesting fight. Looking forward to more.

Agreed. Neat to see a monster also show up like that in a city, and a nice mixture of close ups. Still a simple episode, but I liked the fight with multiple phases. I just wish there was a little more with that specific monster though.o.supreme wrote: ↑Sat Jul 26, 2025 6:54 am Watched Episode 4. The kaiju was kind of cool. Something tells that creature will appear again. And also? I’m noticing a trend with ancient beasts in this series. Most of what we’ve gotten so far are ancient beasts awakened.

I constantly enjoy how this show has been shot so far. And the soundtrack is great as well.
