Black King vs. King Joe

King Joe

Location: Kobe Bay (Ultraseven)
Rules: Original series feats only.

My verdict: Muahahahhaha.

Both have immense, Ultra-resistant durability. It took King Joe being shot by a special chemical to be destroyed. Black King, after resisting everything Jack threw at him, finally had his head severed by a rejuvenated Jack taking the Ultra Bracelet to King's neck. On the flip side these two monsters really take "the best defense is a good offense" and wipe their butts with it. King Joe is incredibly slow and generally a poor fighter, though he is physically strong. Black King is faster, but overall I don't see these two as being able to harm each other for literal years to come. Both of their beam weapons are puny as well. However, King Joe's ray he fires when separated is the strongest attack by either side. Without the later precedent showing that strong enough attacks (and presumably, enough attacks in the same spot) will destroy King Joe, plus Joe's edge in firepower and being a mechanical construct, I do think King Joe can outlast Black King. Perhaps he can choke out the monster/crush his skull as he attempted with Seven, or drown him in the bay. This fight does have the potential to take years.

I see King Joe coming out on top. While Black king was tough, Ultraman did possess a move capable of killing the monster. King Joe was immune to everything Ultraman had, and as you pointed out, it took a special chemical to destroy the machine. That sort of toughness gives King Joe an edge against his foe.
The problem with doing nothing is that you never know when you're finished.

It was too dark to see properly. He was more like a beast than a human being.

I actually think Black King is much, much tougher than King Joe (took stronger attacks that would've one-shotted things that have similar durability feats to King Joe of ignoring all the regular finishers of an Ultra), and being a living organism means that Black King has a healing factor (like all creatures do, such as us humans) that would allow any minor chip damage from King Joe (not that Joe can inflict much, unless over a very long period of time). But, King Joe, being a robot, has much higher stamina, and essentially doesn't feel any pain, meaning that it's harder to disrupt and King Joe can't lose momentum over time from getting tired. This I think is a much more major advantage than Black King's toughness and allows King Joe to potentially drown the space Red King relative, as Black King may still need to breathe and the two are of similar strength levels anyways. King Joe comes up on top thanks to the terrain, though as Coob said, it will take a very long period of time.
