vs.

Itachi
Shin Godzilla https://www.tohokingdom.com/kaiju/godzi ... tml#fourth
Israfel https://wiki.evageeks.org/Israfel
Heisei King Ghidorah https://www.tohokingdom.com/kaiju/king_ ... sei.htm#kg

Arena: The Valley (Valley of Gwangi)

Rules: M.O.G.E.R.A. is not SRF. Eva-13 only has one Spear of Longinus.
I frequent the KWC and tournament sections because that's all I care about on TK.

King Caesar is basically a joke here, and while MOGUERA is obviously more of a threat, pre-upgrade it didn't do much to SpaceGodzilla. Only Shin is really in much danger from it, and he's got the firepower to threaten it himself.

The real issue is Unit 13, whose physical abilities and Spear pose a massive threat. However, it does have a notable flaw compared to other EVAs: it cannot create its own A.T. Fields. It relies on four ejectable drones for that, and Shin's automatic defense system knows to eliminate drones.

Considering Israfel beat two EVAs who could use A.T. Fields, I think there's a road to victory here. Not sure if it's quite enough though.

Honestly, I just think Eva 13 and MOGUERA outperform everyone on Itachi's team. Whilst lacking its own A.T. Field, 13 is just way stronger than other Evas, as seen with how casually it was overpowering a heavily upgraded Unit-02 while it itself was on the defensive. MOGUERA's firepower would meanwhile decimate the others without an A.T. Field on Itachi's team.

Filler wins.

Both Itachi & Voyager give compelling arguments for both sides, especially as I am unfamiliar with Eva 13 and thus have to rely on such analyses to form my own opinions. Flipping a coin for this. Heads is Filler, tails is Itachi.

Got heads. Filler it is.

When Shinji and Asuka shoot at Israfel, the explosions stop around Israfel like they do with Sachiel and other Angels who have A.T. Fields. I guess it isn't confirmed that Israfel used them, but it seems implied.

For the overall fight, I think my team can still take this. Part of the reason Unit 13 had such an edge over Unit 02 was because Asuka struggled to destroy the drones by herself. Shin's radar defense system can target either the drones or 13 itself before the A.T. Fields get deployed, and Unit 13 doesn't have an easy way to kill Israfel without backup.

MOGEURA's firepower is a concern, but Israfel and Ghidorah aren't going down easy, especially given this is pre-upgrade MOGUERA. Shin's firepower offers a similar advantage for my team, trading out durability for even greater offense and aforementioned utility.
