This seems pretty cut and dry. Astromons is said to be a type of monster even stronger than Choju, we see him eat and kill a Choju, and Verokron is the most standard Choju out there.

Verokron might be one of the most iconic choju, but in his initial appearance he wasn't anything special and Ace took him out pretty fast. Astromons is that... but for a stronger Ultra Brother.
