That's about as much as my Xplus Queen Legion cost and at like 1/3 the size.

I am such a Gamera whore that I would probably order this if I trusted Bandai to actually deliver and not have a QC nightmare.

I know it's going to $500, but damn I am tempted still. The Flying Form is what makes me really want it.

The amount of plastic stands needed to make the flying form just takes away from the entire look. Would have made much more sense to not include any of that, which probably would have knocked a bit off the price.

This is exactly what I thought as well. Knock off 200 bucks and eliminate the flying version.

This is the sort of thing that furstrates me about toys like these. The flying Legion shows up clearly in how many shots? One? And to make this look work in toy form they need to include several different types of plastic stands just to hold the thing up. And all that just probably adds a good $150 or more to the price. None of that seems logical to me.

Personally, I've never been impressed by MonsterArts figures that need a ton of those plastic stands just so they can be displayed. It ends up looking cluttered and messy.

Agreed. I never displayed any of the figures I had with effects parts and couldn't get rid of the MV Ghidorah faster.

Very glad I have stopped bothering with this line. At least the Ace Killer set is more justifiable with its pricetag.

^Likewise. When Legion popped up on BBTS the other day I choked on my earl grey when I caught the pricetag.

Eh I’m one of those people that if you don’t like it don’t buy it which I’m not. I’m by far a completist and only pick which I think is worth the price and if I really want it. This line is really good and not perfect but I still enjoy quite a bit of them.

I’d pretty much sworn off SHMA. They’re generally just too expensive for what you get. And also I’ve realized they’re usually too fiddly/delicate for my tastes. I like to be able to grab a figure off the shelf without worrying too much about breaking it, messing up the pose, or parts falling off. If I’m gonna have something super realistic looking and delicate on the shelf I’d rather build a model kit.

But this guy looks phenomenal, is actually not too terribly priced, and is one of my absolute favorite G suits (especially the GxM version of the suit, which we rarely see in toy form!)

But then of course there’s the also-great-looking Hiya figure coming, and for an even better price.

Really wish I could wait for both to be released and see in hand reviews, but by the time that happens one or both will likely be sold out at retail.

There was a time where I’d have just picked up both and then sold the one I didn’t want to keep once I had compared them in hand myself, but that’s just too much trouble honestly.

Ah well, it’s a great looking figure. So good that it’s making me reconsider my abandonment of the line.

I love the body slam promo, hope that means Megaguirus is just around the corner.

^ I hope so. Having the complete 'Godzilla VS Gigan' cast would be sweet. They can reveal a Megaguirus after that one. But even without it 2025 is already a quite neat years for SHMA.

Got a hold of the reissue for Minus One Goji. Solid figure but not perfect. I had two defective figures with broken spines before I could get my hands on a good one from my spot in NYC.
