Apparently Ebirah throws rocks until he comes within claw range. I love it.

Having a grand old time with Bagan and Super Godzilla. So happy to see them in the game.

I lucked out and pulled Super Godzilla, but no luck on Bagan. He’s powerful and feels well balanced for his cost. My opinion could change once I start facing other people using him. Bagan seems really strong in the couple matches I had against him.

So the game was stable enough for me to play a matches today. Ebirah is really cool!! He's not meta changing or anything, but he's a fun unit to use. He's kind of a Minus One lite. So glad we're finally getting not only more Showa representation, but also units that aren't 4* lol.

As for Super Godzilla and Bagan, the latter isn't really all that. He's tough, but that's about all I can say about him since I only encountered one. Super Godzilla on the other hand, is pretty tough as well because at some point when that meter fills he starts regenerating health like crazy. He puts out some solid damage too.

Man the latest meta bites the big one. Haven't reached rank 66 in quite some time, but Rio Godzilla + Skar King is incredibly annoying. The Shin leaders are plentiful, but I don't mind them too much since they help my Super Godzilla with the burn, I'll take those over the KG2019 leads at least. Still having a blast using Super Godzilla and Bagan, just wish they didn't have to put up with this nonsense in the upper tiers.

Glad to hear you made it back on for the season. I’ve been having a blast with ebirah even if I don’t think he’s top tier meta. Smacking the Shinden or one of the moth duo out of the sky with rocks is hilariously satisfying for me. Super Godzilla is insane. Yeah Rio can still kill him, but because of his kit he keeps healing at an accelerated rate and can draw rios attention for a long period of time. I’ve had him straight up own 2021 goji one vs one and the gigan rex squad crumbles whenever they go up against him. Bagan feels weird to me. His chain ability is nifty and can cheese the enemy leader quite easily, but for the description stating he had “strong hide” he seems to crumble pretty easily without support. He’s also deceptively fast for some reason. I stand by thinking they should have increased his cost to 7 or 8 and either buffed his health or damage. Still glad he got some love and was added regardless.

So it turns out the problem was with my phone being old and due for an upgrade lol. The game runs perfectly fine now. That being said....I walk back my statement on Bagan. That chain energy beam is kinda nutty lol. My leader has been hit from almost halfway across the map by it because it bounces between my units back to me. I've seen it chain up to 3 or 4 nearby units at once.

Leader Bagan is also very, very good at farming kills for ASB. The one big swarm wave near wave 90 is cakewalk, as well as the nightmare wave with Mothra + Battra and the hordes of choppers and Super-Xs.

Well, I am officially playing it finally. Skar King is one of the best units I've found so far. Very fun game.

Yeah he is one of the better ones. He’s mainly disadvantaged against units immune to stun, or units wayyy out of his weight class/ cost. If you run a swarm of units to back him up he becomes even more dangerous.

Swarms are also a good counter to him, as they make him waste his grapple.

Judging by the incoming buffs I'd say we're in for another Gamera season.

The more I play, the more I'm enjoying it. I will admit, I spent $6 if only to get a few decent units and it really makes the game better. I know people hate paying for shit in these games... But it's a free game. Given all the options, I can see why and how some people get carried away.

I think I made a pretty solid team now. Just keep updating. Ebirah is a surprisingly awesome unit. Gigan Rex is also very useful and I found they make great anti-Bagan units with Skar King also. Used Bagan for a little bit, but switched to Super Godzilla as my highest rated unit. He just seems to come in handy much better.

I've come up with a handful of ideas for kaiju I hope to see...

Kumonga (Showa) - Sprays webs on the ground, slowing down all enemy units that walk on it.
Titanosaurus - When deployed in the water, he generates a whirlpool which will draw in all nearby enemy and player units that are in the nearby water.
Krystalak - When deployed, a crystal of color will emerge on the player's side. Nearby, friendly units will be drawn to the crystal and destroy it. If they destroy it, they will gain a slight boost/attack depending on the color. Red = Fire Breath, Yellow = Electric Bolt, Green = Acid Spray, Blue = A Pulse Attack, and Purple = A beam pushes the target back and deals damage.
Obsidius - Shoots streams of lava from his mouth while also kicking up rocks in every direction.
Orga (Wide Mouth Version) - Once this Orga defeats an enemy unit of superior star, it will heal all damage and become a perfect clone of the opponent's unit until defeat. Once back in the player's hand, it returns to Orga.
Megaguirus (Supersonic) - A faster version of Megaguirus that costs more, but also comes with its own swarm of Meganula.
Anguirus (2004) - When deployed, Anguirus rolls directly toward the enemy leader while taking damage from enemy units, but not able to stop him. He will only unroll once directly next to its target.
Rodan (SP) - A swarm unit that can be deployed in the water before taking to the air. Think Ebirah, but for swarms and a flying unit.
Barugon - Barugon's rainbow has extensive reach, and he will instantly send one out upon deployment to hit the opposing leader. Once this is done, Barugon will begin moving forward while spraying ice mist, slowing down all enemy units.
Gorosaurus - Just a typical unit... Needs to do his kangaroo kick though.
Gamera (1995) - Upon defeat as Gamera 1995, Gamera will evolve into Gamera 1996, and then once more as Gamera 1999.
Gamera (1999) - Upon defeat, Gamera's arm falls off and he forms the Plasma Fist, delivering one final blow that will take off half of the remaining HP of the enemy unit that has taken him down.
Gamera (1996) - As a leader, Gamera gains his Special Move by acquiring energy through the Earth's mana. The lower his HP, the stronger his Mana Ray is, which works much like the Godzilla 2021 atomic ray.
Legion - Upon deployment, Legion is underground and uses her long legs to shoot topside and strike nearby targets before the queen herself arises. Additionally, once half way defeated, she will lose her horn and energy blast attack, and instead start using red energy whips that can hit multiple targets at once. As a leader, Legion's Special Move would summon the largest and fastest swarm in the game. However, this swarm can only remain active for a little while before realizing there's a signal coming from the cellphones that is being used to play the game and they change directions, flying at both players' screens for an exit.
Guiron (Showa) - A grounded unit that is exceptionally anti-air. All attacks he does against aerial units delivers extra damage.
Xillian Spaceships (2005) - When deployed, the spaceship will beam down a random monster: Kamacuras (2004), Zilla (2004), or Kumonga (2004). Kamacuras is a fast unit that turns invisible for a few seconds every 30 seconds. Zilla can jump over enemy units in front of him, allowing him to get behind them. Kumonga spits web nets that slow down targets. Unlike other units, you can deploy up to three of these at a time, but you will never get duplicates of the same monster if you do.
King Caesar (2004) - Much like Gigan (1972), King Caesar charges the enemy leader specifically. As a leader, King Caesar will roar and 2004 Anguirus will fall from the sky, rolled into a ball. King Caesar will then kick it upon its descent, launching Anguirus through the battlefield, pinballing off of enemies for several seconds, unstoppable, until coming to a screeching stop and being its own unit until defeat.
Anguirus (1972) - When attacking, Anguirus launches back-first at his target. When being attacked in this state, all damage is reduced. Anguirus also increases the defenses of his active allies.
Manda (2004) - An extremely slow unit on land, Manda is also extremely fast in the water.

My mind wanders when I'm at work.

I also really hope we see even more crossovers. Pacific Rim and Power Rangers/Sentai in this would be crazy. Along with more Ultraman. Classic Showa Ultraman, Seven, Gomora, etc. Dinosaur Tank is made for this game.

I'm still honestly surprised we didn't get any GigaBash or MMPR units for this game to go along with the Godzilla DLC in GigaBash or the Godzilla vs. MMPR comics.

Isn't Pacific Rim a Legendary property? Seems like that one shouldn't be hard to negotiate.

Not gonna lie I would really dig a Manda or Kumonga in any form in this game. As for gamera, would love Legion and the ‘99 version of the turtle to be included. Or maybe they could give us that cool Gamera seen at the beginning of Gamera the Brave.

Yeah what I’m seeing seems to indicate that. I heard rumors last season about the shobijin being teased, and was hoping we were getting long overdue Mothra vs Godzilla units. Off topic, how much of a rights hassle would it be for King Kong 1962 to be included? I’ve seen Kinggoji requested a lot in the past, would feel a bit weird to include him without his counterpart.

Chibi Shobijin, Grand King Ghidorah (because we can only go so long without another Ghidorah) and, reported, Armor Mothra.

Well looks like the old rumors were true! Admittedly I was not expecting the chibi incarnation, but I’m interested to see it in action.
