Re: VKT R3: Deathfacer vs Mechagodzilla (Heisei)
Yes please, make it flood (Gotta make Tiamat useful lol)
So I'm gonna be honest, my team kind of steamrolls Mechagodzilla here, we vastly outnumber him, and thanks to Robotnik, my team had full knowledge of what MG is capable of, meaning my team will be prepared to rush him with melee before he can get a plasma grenade off.
My team is overall a hard-counter to MG93, as he has ZERO melee skill, while my team does, and now we have Tiamat in her element, who was beating the crap out of MV Godzilla, MG will not be able to really recover from that, not to mention having a bunch of other aggressive fighters dogging him constantly, there's just no way for him to keep up.

You’re gonna have to get through the beam spam first, and I really don’t see most of the team making it through
The only ones who’d even put a dent in him are Skar King and JJ, the rest I don’t see happening unless Gyaos uses her beam

And what's keeping my team from dodging? Especially with knowledge of what MG is capable of doing (Thanks Robotnik), they should be more than prepared to dodge beams, and Tiamat ain't getting caught with all the water supporting her. If Heisei Rodan could rock MG's shit with some pecks, then my team is gonna rend MG limb from limb. Also, my team has plenty of buildings to use for cover, it's not like he can just one-shot everyone with his mouth beam, especially when they're already prepared to dodge him and rush him.Reptile6497 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 2:10 pm You’re gonna have to get through the beam spam first, and I really don’t see most of the team making it through

Re: VKT R3: Deathfacer vs Mechagodzilla (Heisei)
King Cobra is probably the MVP. He's quick and agile enough to get in close, sturdy enough to take a beam or two if he needs to, and MG would have a hard time countering being constricted.
Everybody else would be in a lot more trouble. These are not durable kaiju, and Heisei Mechagodzilla hits like a truck. He could literally one-shot some of these guys, and shooting is his entire game plan.
I do think Deathfacer pulls it off through weight of numbers and especially KC's effective skillet, but there will be casualties.

Don't forget that Tiamat's in her element due to flood, so she could likely do the same.

Re: VKT R3: Deathfacer vs Mechagodzilla (Heisei)
I think with sheer numbers and agility, Deathfacer should have this.
Keep in mind, Skar King dodged Godzilla's ray multiple times so I can see him doing the same with Mechagodzilla. The Gyaos' ray should also cut through the mech rather easily considering the mech has no regen and is purely metal, which the Sonic Ray showed on countless times to be able to slice through with no issue.
Once you add in that monsters like C-Rex or Tiamat can use the water for cover, or in the case of Tiamat possibly crush the mech, then Deathfacer should have this more often than not.

Re: VKT R3: Deathfacer vs Mechagodzilla (Heisei)
If it were Super Mechagodzilla, I'd say the rate of firepower heading at Deathfacer's team would be too much. But without the Garuda, the mech didn't spam quite as much, and just has less to work with. It can still take down a lot of the opposition, but it isn't tagging all of them before they get in-close and turn it to a scrap heap.

If we say that the flood waters are up to the combatants knees in height, Mechagodzilla is going to struggle to move about at all. It needed Garuda for the maneuverability and hovering capabilities.

Giving this to Deathfacer. Numbers and the environment really seal Mechagodzilla's fate here.

Re: VKT R3: Deathfacer vs Mechagodzilla (Heisei)
Even if this was Super Mechagodzilla from the start, the mech's lack of CQC experience is enough for Deathfacer to get the win. There will be casualties of course but the numbers don't lie.

Deathfacer's kaiju have just enough agility to close the distance before Mechagodzilla mows through them, at which point it's going down.
