In the camp of what?
Animation, Physics, literature, 3d modeling?
Can't speak for GZillaguy199 but judging by context? Think he's in the camp saying "screw it" to waiting for a sequel and wants to collaborate in writing a fanfic season two instead. Which could be fun but I'm not really a fanfic writing type.
I swear I've seen a bunch of people saying they want to do some kind of fanfic as a countinuation but nobody actually does it
They just stop at the "Im going to made something"

That is true. I guess I don't really like seeing these guys get taken out like that.

That's fair, and I totally get it. But in the context of the anime Anguirus was definitely one of the toughest and more memorable foes JJ had to tangle with, while also having one of if not the best redesign in the series. My biggest qualm is just the size factor - I'd have preferred a more traditional kaiju size, but considering the size of everything else JJ fought before the last minute macguffin of growing to kaiju size itself to take on Godzilla, Anguirus was fine.

If we ever get Anguirus back in live action say in a sequel to Minus One or (preferably imo) another new continuity during this Reiwa era, I'd love to see a similar design and the addition of this one's unique power to deflect attacks come back.
I unapologetically, wholeheartedly, and without a doubt hate Godzilla vs Kong.

Ya while I don't prefer the mega size of the Heisei/Monsterverse daikaiju, I wish Anguirus was the same size as Godzilla. And Rodan was defeated way too easily. Idk, you definitely make sense, but I just personally wanted more after not seeing these guys for a while, especially Anguirus. Heck, even Kumonga put of more of a fight in SoG

As for the Reiwa Era, I would also like Anguirus to return. Maybe to help Godzilla against Gigan

What do you guys think about the theory that says Yun and Ashihara are in someway the same person?
I know it sounds kinda dumb (and it is) but I just remembered that this theory existed so what you think of it?

I never thought about that actually, but their designs are similar. Next time I rewatch it I’ll keep that in mind.

It actually goes beyond the designs, from the "evidence" I could find.

Ashihara was known by his predictions, Yun in the first episode makes a predection about what he and Haberu are going to eat 2 weeks from now, most of Ashihara background is totally unkown, specially since it was said that Ashihara was a resident at Odo island and that he was the one that defeated Godzilla back in 54, implying he must had have some knowledge about archetype and Godzilla this early in the timeline and finally in the novelization there is a bit from the POV of the first Rodan that appeared in the show, in wich is hinted that Yun seems familiar to him, just Yun

It has some intersting points but I personally think they are just big stretches, it is intersting tho

I don't think it sounds dumb at all, that was always my interpretation of things, that and the anime was working on bit of a timeloop with Godzilla's defeat and skeletal remains.

I mean yeah but with only the anime the only prrof we had was how similar Yun and Ashihara desings were
And that's not much considering how anime desings are

As big of an SP fan as I am, I don't think it's the type of hugely impactful release that merits a lot of hoopla on its anniversary.

Yeah honestly at this point I rather Toho do a completely different anime so I do hope that's something that could be announced but I highly doubt it.

Well
We are going to have a new manga series (not SP related) so I guess we have that
But yeah, Singular Point is as dead as Gamera at this point

While I’ve always loved SP and would be very excited to hear about a continuation, I’m sort of glad we’re at the point people are giving up on speculating when season 2 will come out. I’ve always been a bit annoyed how people focus conversation on a possible season 2, and not the show itself-which I maintain is amazing. Jettyjags and I will have more on it to say later.

What needed to be discussed has already been discussed, unless you want to talk about the whole technobabble the series is
