No, it didn't. I draw the line at skeletal remains.

Makes sense why Kong has so much screentime. They do a pretty bang-on job with making him interesting. I almost expected more Godzilla screentime, but they tend to use him efficiently so it’s not really a problem.

I mean what do you expect? That's more screen time for Godzilla than a lot of the Toho movies. He was in Astro-Monster for like 5 minutes. Kong had a whole-ass silent film B-plot going on throughout the movie. Would I like to see half an hour of Godzilla wandering the countryside, eating stuff, splashing in the water, etc? Sure. But we know Toho does not allow him to be emotive and human, by contract. So how exactly would they go about doing that?

I was a bit surprised myself. I attribute this to the movie being shorter. Also to the fact that the human characters spend more time separate from Kong in GxK, when they're with him for the entirety of GvK.
