I just ordered Killer Whale and Space Monster Wangmagwi from SRS Cinema on Blu-ray tonight.
Can a mod here please delete the entry for The Whale God in the post above and replace it with these words:
*Killer Whale (SRS Cinema; Blu-ray (first pressing))
Also, please add this film in the same post above between Reptilicus and Yongary, Monster from the Deep using these words:
*Space Monster Wangmagwi (SRS Cinema; Blu-ray (first pressing))
Please write these two entries out exactly as I've written them here.
Finally, please change the part in its entry to say Ultraseven: The Complete Series and delete the part in Rainbow Man that says "...Japanese subtitles only,..." Thanks!

I'm genuinely curious whats up with a member quoting his gigantic lists over and over again.

I also recently ordered Negadon: The Monster from Mars from eBay and it just arrived today. Needless to say, it's perfect!

A little while back, I pre-ordered the new 4K HD Blu-ray/Blu ray combo release of Reptilicus. Still waiting for the shipping notice.

Re: What Godzilla movies do you own?
Reptilicus from Vinegar Syndrome has finally arrived! And guess what? There are three discs in it: the first one is an 4K HD of the U.S. version, the second one is a Blu-ray that's identical to the first disc except that it includes the special features, and the third one is another Blu-ray which contains the uncut Danish version with English subtitles! These people really outdid themselves this time!

Re: What Godzilla movies do you own?
Realized the other day I had somehow forgotten to ever pick up Godzilla 2000 on blu-ray ever selling my DVD of it a while back, so I fixed that.
I now have everything (including Minus One) except the Tristar movie and the anime trilogy. I wouldn't mind owning the Tristar movie again, since I haven't seen it since the VHS days. The anime trilogy...I probably wouldn't buy physical copies even if they were readily available in the US.

I recently saw all three films of the anime trilogy and I liked it. King Ghidorah looked great as something that Lovecraft would call an "eldritch abomination".DrBreakfastMachine wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 1:50 pm Realized the other day I had somehow forgotten to ever pick up Godzilla 2000 on blu-ray ever selling my DVD of it a while back, so I fixed that.

Only two flaws in this diamond that I saw when I watched the trilogy:
*I would've liked Godzilla Earth to actually fight a version of Mechagodzilla and not have it be just a city that hardly did anything,
*whenever the subtitles were shown against a part of the background that was white, you couldn't see or read them. The rest of the subtitles were fine against dark backgrounds.

Only two flaws, and one is with the subtitles?

Eh, fair enough. They just weren't for me.
