it's better than the Wii version, imo. Wii version had better graphics but the controls were atrocious
that wasn't very cash money of you

Oh trust me, I know. I remember going to K-Mart to pick up Unleashed for the Wii the day it came out. Its a shame, it looked so good and had a fantastic roster. If only it had the option for standard controls.

Re: Godzilla: Unleashed (PS2)
Sorry for necroposting, but today is the day I finally got to play the infamous PS2 version. Yeah, it's much inferior to the Wii version, but it's not awful like what others have been saying throughout the years. I still had fun with it. I like that you play as Godzilla 90s in the story mode, which you can't in the Wii version. The inclusion of Showa Gigan and Battra is a plus to me. The slow frame rate is annoying, but the controls are good, better than the Wii version, and the graphics, while not great, are still pretty charming in a nostalgic way. Definitely not worth $70, though.

Re: Godzilla: Unleashed (PS2)
I played the PS2 version first. I enjoyed it, but wished it had been able to have the same roster as the Wii version.
I actually owned the Wii version of the game before I even got a Wii.
The roster for the Wii version is the only reason I even bought a Wii in the first place.
I really wish these Pipeworks Godzilla games would get a re-release on the Playstation store, the same way they've done the Marvel Ultimate Alliance and now the Classic Star Wars Battlefront games.

I love both the Wii and PS2 versions and have a lot of nostalgia for both still.
I used to be a lot more optimistic and outgoing, believe it or not. I used to actually be passionate about this stuff.

Re: Godzilla: Unleashed (PS2)
I remember playing this version of the game as a kid and enjoying it simply because it was a Godzilla game. Looking at it now and comparing it to the Wii version does as well as the previous installments, it looks like a watered-down Save the Earth. Whether it's fun to play or not is something I can say, I only saw it through YouTube videos. It does seem to be very heavy while lacking impact from what I saw though.
