Hiya Toys 1/12 Godzilla

Just pre-ordered the GMK. I'm usually not a fan of articulated toys because imo they end up looking kinda... lumpy? But this one absolutely rips.
The pre-order estimate was August 2025; does anyone know if it's typical for them to open so early or if that's more likely a placeholder date?

Normally they stay to the date but lately for some reason they've been getting earlier. My 2017 Kong was estimated for November and he's here now and I already am seeing Energized in states despite being listed as 2025

It feels like it varies regarding to which supplier you used. People get it first when ordered from Hiya directly. Then there may be consecutive mass-shipments to certain retailers like BBTS, who seemingly receive bulk-shipments from Hiya at later dates.

Out of curiosity for those who got one, who has their Special color version of Ghidorah 2019 in hand? Ordered mine from the Godzilla Store and it is supposed to ship sometime this month.

This brings me to the question of when pre-orders for the new translucent Burning Godzilla '19 will go live... that thing looks like it will pulse the SHMA one out of Boston.

I hope it's just an early timed exclusive because it would be so disappointing since this is one of the best looking Burning Godzilla 2019 figure.

It is a really great looking figure. And it’s a shame that it might turn out difficult to obtain.

But it’s not really any more screen accurate than the previous painted version. In fact I’d argue that (perhaps excepting one or two super expensive statues) none of the 2019 burning Godzilla toys have accurately portrayed how he really looked on screen. Some get a little closer than others (and both of Hiya’s versions have their strengths when compared to the actual on screen look). But I’m not sure anyone could really make a figure that actually looks like this:

Still coping that it's a timed exclusive and the full release is next year. Maybe this is a test from Hiya to see how big the demand is. They could do a wide release without the Ghidorah accessories to keep the "exclusivity" of this one.

Yeah, based off of the actual translation from the Weibo post, that is very much a possibility in my opinion. Also we have to remember that Google translations are not perfect.

And they added it to my Pile of Loot today. Hopefully everyone else who pre-ordered has one waiting for them too.
