Honestly that one caught me by surprise. Her decisions for YouTube may have been.. controversial, but she seemed like a legitimately kind person and a good mother. Such a rough time for her family as well; one of her sons had passed away from a drug overdose this February. I hope she can rest in peace.

Yeah, I really didn't like her as CEO, but she was still human, after all. Cancer is a horrible thing to go through, especially after losing her son. My condolences for her family.

Rachael Lillis, the original English voice of Misty and Jessie in Pokémon, has passed away at 46. Way too soon.

I was just a little too old when Pokemon came out, so I never got into it. However, I do have an appreciation for VA's as prolific and talented as Rachael was. Also she is just a little younger than myself. My son found Pokemon on his own, and has become quite the fan. But this does hit home. My own wife was diagnosed back in 2019 at the age of 43. Fortunately it was caught early, and through chemo, surgery, and radiation, it was taken out in a little under a year. But she continues to get regular checkups, and treatment. She is having another surgery soon that will hopefully ensure it doesn't come back, at least in the same form. Five years later however , and thankfully she is still cancer-free. But for everyone like my wife, there are many that don't make it. It is very sad, and I (as a husband), can only plead with all women, not matter your age, to have regular checkups and be aware. My best wishes with her family and friends
To all you dub preservationists, my friends, you have my eternal thanks 8-) . Never stop what you do, you are amazing!

Oh man, this is a big loss. He voiced a ton of iconic characters over his career; Darth Vader was just the start. Still, he lived a long, lovely life. R.I.P

First of all, I want to give my condolences to Mr Jones's family and friends. He lived a luxurous and sucessful life few could regret. Anyways, is anyone aware that before his death, he gave his approval to Disney to use AI for replicating his voice for future Star Wars projects?

We lost a legend today. He was Vaser, Mufasa and so many more from childhood to adulthood.

Godspeed James Earl Jones. He was a real legend.

Certainly, none of us will look at Mufasa's death the same way ever again after today.
