I understand some of the complaints but this was the first and arguably only Godzilla game that accurately depicted the big lumbering giant element of Godzilla. Which was particularly fitting for the Hesei era where there wasn't a lot of dropkicks and snapmares. While the fighting games are a lot of fun and the NES game even had Godzilla jumping around like Mario, I always thought this game was great at making you feel the weight of the creature.
Again, could be a bit dull, but I have fond memories of it in part because it WAS a different type of game.
I also just saw that randomizer. I need to check that out.
