Pirates aren’t going to be doing much here. Venom can be deadly, but then Iron Man comes in with vastly superior firepower including missiles, repulser blasts, and if needed the Hulkbuster.

I agree mostly with Nagoda's comments except I will point out, Iron Man had difficulty with Ant-Man infiltrating his armor. I can imagine the Symbiote doing a very similar thing.

Also, it took a Rocket detonating to kill Riot. If we assume something similar with Venom and he should be able to last a little while. Finally, do we start inside this base or outside? Because if its inside, then Venom as the CQC advantage from the start.

I think iron man will be able to kill the pirates without much issue and defeat venom after a long fight

I see Venom taking this. Once the Pirates are out of the way, he's strong enough to outmatch Tony physically, fast enough to keep out of the line of fire, and if I'm not correct he can also infiltrate/thread his limbs into the suit if he needs to.

Iron Man. He’s also got those lasers which cut through solid concrete, a bunch of missiles, the repulsor blasts will probably hurt Venom a lot, and if he does call down the Hulkbuster, a ton more firepower. Though that also comes at the risk that the Hulk Buster gets Hijacked by Venom.

Venom

The symbiote's infiltration of the suit, coupled with his regeneration and immense strength leads me to think Venom will come out on top. If Captain America with his shield is strong enough to break the armor, and Ant Man can infiltrate the suit, then normal Iron Man, no matter the arsenal, is toast because while Stark could just fly away and rain down hell, Tony is a fighter at heart. And his confidence will cost him.

The Pirates are fodder here. Venom is a threat thanks to his strength and durability but the Hulkbuster is out of his league. Add in the flight and ranged weapons of Iron Man and he wins with some difficulty.
