If you like anime you might give it a chance sometime. It's an older show now but I still love it.

seriously though the show has a pretty unique aesthetic. It tries to mix a lot of influences including tokusatsu and our favourite Big G

For sure. And then they threw in some giant robots and monsters for good measure. I'm not sure what the difference between a kimono and shrine maiden's outfit but those are pretty likely.
