Honestly the hands are the selling part of the figure to me. More dynamic than the neutral hands.

Sculpt is superb but no Proton Scream? Is it really that much to ask to put something beyond hands with a figure that'll probably be ~$100? I get that its die-cast, but I was expecting a little more. Wondering if I should just cancel my G21 preorder for the repaint which will probably be a web exclusive and have more accessories.

How much die-cast is there? If it's mostly metal I can understand it being a little high but $150? Might as well spend that on an aftermarket figure.

Re: Rebuild of S.H. MonsterArts 1.1 [ABRIDGED]
The MechaG looks incredibly impressive. $150 MSRP is a bit expensive but if Gigan can go for around the same price now, all bets are off now. I would be interested to know about the amount of die cast in the figure. Maybe if I can get some slight discount on it I'll likely pull the trigger on it. At that point, the only major kaiju that I would not have in my Monsterverse collection in KG (hoping for either a re-release or another company creates a well detailed 6-inch scale figure).
Kong pictures look great despite the glossy finish. A lot of seems at some angles it seems but from far away won't be much of an eyesore. Can't wait till mine comes in and I can pose it pounding its chest.

(Before anyone says, yes, it isn't exact, I was trying before going to my work shift but I fiddle with this figure all the time and tried before so)

G19 is not a crawler he's a yell at the sky angry guy. Good on Tamashii, now we know why a new mold was needed.

Man I wish I had that KOTM Godzilla. Instead I'm stuck with minty breath Goji but that's the price you pay when you don't buy SHMA at retail it seems.

Oh... That’s way more than I thought it would be. Anyone have any reasons why it might be that expensive?

Diecast parts and intricacy of the design are my best guesses. That being said, even with those factors I was expecting this to be in the $100-110 range unless this thing is like, made completely out of diecast metal. I'm definitely going to be searching for a deal on this.

I might get Kong and MG if I have the money. But I hope to God MG isn't over 200 just because he has diecast parts

Size as well. 7.5 inches according to one source I read.Noble Saber wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 2:22 pmDiecast parts and intricacy of the design are my best guesses.
