If making him butt ugly was somehow the best they could do to make him distinct and show he was an android.. well, they really could've tried to do better.

Is there a particular problem you have with Lance Henriksen's face?
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

It's just so offputting. He looks like he couldn't decide whether or not to be an 60 something year old man or a 30 year old.

I'd say he looks like he's in his 40s/50s tops? The perfect android vibe.

I wanted to say that but I figured it'd be a fully fledged reboot at that point

Nah I mean, I'd say Concrete Jungle is still the definitive Predator game. Add a bit more customization, open the world up a little more, maybe a few more "open world" levels to it and you'd perfect it.

True, though honestly the possibilities for world maps and skills would be endless for a character like the Predator.

They could follow the story of the Golden Angel Elder from Predator 2, have his origin play similar to AC Black Flag.

Maybe a young Predator crash lands in NYC during the Christmas season.

A Predator wants to earn a few high ranking Shogun skulls during the age of the Samurai, so he has to fight his way through Japan, ala Ghost of Tsushima.

There's just so much potential in an Open-world game series for the franchise.

Every time I go to sell my PS2 I can't do it for two reasons: Predator Concrete Jungle and Silent Hill 2 & 3. I love CJ and a new updated Predator sandbox game could easily work. No game has done the Predator better. Its so fun to play the first few levels of the game after the Predator is 100% tricked out with all his armor and gadgets. It feels like the movies

I say give it back to the creators. Disney isn't touching horror sci-fi, they don't know the first thing about the genre.

Disney won't give up. They're fully invested, obviously.

If they don't win outright, best case is them making a deal to allow them to be involved, directly or indirectly.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy. They do not attack people because they want to, but because of their size and strength, mankind has no other choice but to defend himself. After several stories such as this, people end up having a kind of affection for the monsters. They end up caring about them." - Ishiro Honda

They don't know anything about their own genre either if the live action Mulan is anything to go by.

All right alittle hot take: I felt that Alien Isolation (2014) is more of an Alien (1979) sequel then Aliens (1986), even though I love both movies, but I felt that Alien Isolation did a better job being a sequel, my reasoning is that it continue with the horror elements from the first movie, don’t get me wrong, Aliens (1986) did had some horror elements in the movie it just wasn’t as much as the first, where in Alien Isolation has the same or more than the first, simply because it put Amanda Ripley in a position of helplessness more then the Marines or even the crew of the Nostromo for that matter, because you go out you’re find items that can help you on your journey alone, and the Xenomorph, a threat that is simply unkillable, pretty damn smart, and better yet not alone, you got hostile people which we can all agree that aren’t really that scary, they just go down with one bullet, but uncanny androids makes up with that, pretty much the second scariest thing in the game besides the Xenomoprh itself, Plus the story did A better job explaining what happened to Amanda Ripley than the Theatrical cut Aliens, which is kind of unfair since this game that the main character is Amanda Ripley, then being brushoff in the Theatrical cut, granted that the Extended cut did explain what happened to her in a scene where Ellen Ripley found out that she died of old age which is heartbreaking to say the least and Would actually explain why she took care of Newt, but hey that’s just my take if there is any problem that you have with this post please do criticize me

I disagree, The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker were the scariest things I've ever seen.

Sometimes I wonder whether or not this franchise is doomed, as heartbreaking as it is for me to think that.

Looks like Predator 5 is going straight to Hulu.

That sucks. Dan Trachtenburg actually has a successful track record going in (10 Cloverfield Lane), hence deserves a wide release film, unlike Shane Black. They done him dirty if true.

I think because of Shane Black BS excuse of a movie was a massive failure in the box office that they’re putting this Predator sequel on Hulu rather in theater, because they don’t want another massive box office bomb, it’s a shame that this movie isn’t going in theaters, Disney rather take the stairs then to do a leap of faith

I agree Dan Trachtenburg deserves better, but am not the least bit surprised by this. The Predator 2018 was a franchise killer... This series should have been on ice for 8 to 10 years after that mess.
