Power levels would be Godzilla is 10,000 HE stones and Kong is 4,800 HE stones while Rodan was 4,750 HE stones.

Yeah, I'm not talking about the guy himself speaking, more the video overall. Unless there's another interview out there. But yeah, he came into the Hong Kong fight with a depleted tank. Imagine was a maxed, relaxed and fully fed Godzilla would do to kong....

So nothing to support the claim that Godzilla was at 50% when he fought Kong. The guy's just making up headcanons based on the TK interview, which never specifically stated anything or the sort.

Drilling to the center of the earth aside Godzilla seemed more in line with what we saw in 2014 than 2019, where they really amped him up (surviving oxygen destroyer, taking nuke to the face, surviving burning state). Not to mention Dougherty stating Godzilla would've beaten Ghidorah at sea if the military hadn't interfered... meanwhile G was exhausted from fighting two MUTOs and knocked down by a building in 2014. Wingard had to go into GVK acknowledging/balancing both of these approaches.

He fought kong after rounding up the titans and putting them in deep storage, ran around the planet for a few days looking for ghidorah, drilled into hollow earth through millions of tons of rock and that weird gravity shit, fought kong again....and finally gassed the fuck out. That's a lot on the big guy.
