While so far we only have marketing images, I am a big fan of collecting photos from these movies and like to gather all of the official stuff here, and we seem to have enough to get started and I just want to keep positivity going.

I can't tell if i like the new Godzilla font

I'm not crazy about it, feels like they're just adding spikes on the names to be edgy, they don't have a purpose.

Yeah i'm not the biggest fan now after taking a closer look. I took a couple of advertising and Typography classes for the last couple of semesters. If i used this font my Professors would look at me like i'm crazy. Those weird spikes diminish the I, A, and G of their respective words.

Overall though it seems like promo is finally starting to pick up so that's a plus.

Kong is stretched up and Godzilla is more crouched, Godzilla fully upright and Kong standing normal would be sufficiently smaller.

Yeah, Godzilla is pretty much in a dumbbell lunge pose while Kong is doing a full stretch slam dunk pose, that's the only way Kong could ever see Goji eye to eye .

He did climb up a vertical cliff in the Arctic. So like that.

The only strange thing I see is how that ship can hold their weight. Either of them should topple it just by climbing into it.

So, has there been any confirmation that that image isn't anything more than toy box art? I'm seeing people claim that it's a still from the film, but as far as I can tell, it's just art from the playmates toy box, similar to the old Box Art from the Kenner JP and TLW toys.

It's probably an early marketing graphic, based on Kong not having the beard, but based on the leaked con footage, it is a moment that's been created for the movie, whether it ends up in trailers only or not who knows.

Honestly, I hope the final shot looks just like that image, only with Kong having his beard.

I really like how schlocky the image with Kong and Godzilla looks. Honestly, I sort of hope the film is goofy in a non-offensive way.

I honestly don't find the tearing and clawing fights of the previous Godzilla movies very interesting. They're honestly kinda boring. Kong is gonna bring a whole new dynamic to the fights that I hope they capitalize on. A dynamic the original King Kong vs Godzilla couldn't really pull off.
