I've been avoiding rotten tomatoes and any reviews until after I see the film. but I saw a post from rotten tomatoes about their current tomato meter, and it looks like most critics seem to like it.

KOTM RT score was funny. I remember how it started dropping and everyone here was sure it was just temporary. "It will go up soon!" Nope lol.

The only positive I'll say is it won't go down to KOTM levels but I will say I won't be shocked if it ends up in the 50s to 60s.

Yeah I recall a lot of folks, including me, were taken aback by KOTM's tomatometer, because before then the social media reactions were pretty positive. I think the tomatometer started out rotten and just kept going lower, right? Frankly initial positive social media reactions don't really mean anything as proven over and over again, but I think the fact that G2014 and KSI were both well recieved by critics there was an assumption KOTM was yet another hit with them.

What's nice with GvK so far is the meter has risen and so far sticking around the low 80s very similar to when G2014 had under 100 reviews. Hopefully it'll settle around the 70s to 80s.

almost 100 reviews and we're still at 82%. When all is said and done I expect no less than 70%. maybe well end up at a nice 75

Regal has dropped its list of theater openings. Mine don't open till the 14th so some of you will have to wait if you wanna see it in theaters.

The one I work at is opening on the 14th but the IMAX (where I really want to see it) is opening May 7th so not that long of a wait, hopefully.

My suggestion is that if you have HBO Max watch it there first and if you like watch it in theaters that was my original plan until I got hyped again.
