I could argue that G84 - GvsKG and GvsM - GvsD should be separate threads. IMO the series took a tonal shift in 1992, starting with the change in both Godzilla's roar and his beam sound in vs MothraLegendZilla wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 11:30 pm I feel that Godzilla 84-89 and 91-94 should’ve been separate threads.

But that doesn't make a lick of sense because between 1991 and 1995 it's the exact same Godzilla.G1985 wrote: ↑Fri May 06, 2022 9:55 amI could argue that G84 - GvsKG and GvsM - GvsD should be separate threads. Yeah I think this makes sense as a standalone thread to discuss the Heisei Godzilla as a whole. It's also probably appropriate to discuss specific incarnations as well. I don't really see the issue here.

Also, why is this only going to 1994? "Burning Godzilla" is still the same Godzilla. People need to stop treating it like a separate character.

I feel it would be more simplified if it was just Godzilla (Heisei) personally since it is the same character throughout. Even when the Futurians fucked the timeline that same Godzilla just got a nuclear boost rather than a new version being born.
