How would you like your shorts?

HELL YEAH.

Can't believe it. I was SURE we'd miss one stretch goal but nope. We got em all.

Fantastic.

Also, David confirmed no Strech Goals for the last 12 hours (cause he doesn't want to rush one in comparison to the two years it took the ones we had) but mentioned he has some ideas kicking around for some based on BackerKit orders (namely, baby Ceratopsians, baby Tyrannosaurs, and Fan's Choice repaints of the main species, the latter hopefully given us the Kenner and Beast Wars Megatron Rex that lost the vote that gave us WWD Rex, imo)

I think we all learned one thing today: don’t underestimate the popularity of tyrannosaurs.

Eofauna has announced another model for early 2022 release: the shovel-tusker Konobelodon.

CollectA has also begun announcing their 2022 figures; a new batch is announced every Friday.

There's been no news from Safari ltd yet, strangely.

Smok, Geosternbergia, AND a non-walking pose modern Spino?

Oh, Collecta you do spoil me.

In BOTM news, BackerKit surveys are out for the Tyrannosaurs and they've offically hit preorder on BigBadToyStore for any non-backers (or if you're like me and you can't afford a figure on top of your Backerkit order right now and need that no money down pre-order lol)

Also we have a new figure from David showing off the Tyrannosaurs at JerseyCon: a green MOTU inspired 1/18th adult Triceratops, hopefully to go with Wave One! (Credit to Faelrin on the DinoToyBlog Fourms)

God BBTS is taking forever to get the Once and Future King in stock. I know its not completely their fault with all the issues at the ports but still.

Apparently the green Trike is a Masters of the Universe homage, and is going to work as a bridge to the new Cyberzoic line:
Creative Beast Studio wrote:Following up on the recent reveal from Legions Con- here's a look at the upcoming green adult Triceratops, which as many of you know, is an homage to the Bionatops figure from the original MOTU toy line. Planned for Fall 2022 - watch for more info on this in the months to come!

CollectA's latest announcement was for a single Deluxe figure of Edmontosaurus. Rumor has it the next (final?) reveal for 2022 will be a new Triceraptops.

Actually, it's most likely for the new Hammond Collection.

Yeah most likely. Really sucks that Amber Collection is going away for this. :(

Idk personally I was never a big fan of it ngl. I never collected the humans since I've already got a lot of them in the main line's scale and a lot of the dinosaurs looked meh to me. I mean each to their own if you liked it awesome! but for me I think I'm more excited for this one personally, a big selling point for me is that they're in scale with the current Mattel figs. I just really REALLY hope they make a Spino and/or Indominus in this new line, I think those would look sick

I'm a bit biased as 1/18th is what I mainly collect nowadays. But, I will say this. Between all of the endless Velociraptor repaints and the fact that they were pretty much stuck with not being able any of the iconic dinosaurs aside from 2 or 3 of them, I am completely fine with Amber Collection being replaced by the Hammond Collection. I managed to track down a 1993 Kenner Red Rex though so I will probably be skipping that Hammond Collection Rex unless it blows me away, lol.

In BOTM news, Dave Silva seems to be teasing a Utahraptor... Full reveal later this week.

Yeah this is probably a smart move on the part of Creative Beasts to kinda step away from these themed releases and doing more individual figures for awhile. Not only does it give him a chance to flex his muscles a bit more but he'll probably also be able to produce them faster.

Oh fantastic! I've been waiting for larger raptors for forever.

The Fan Choice Ceratopsians have also been voted in.

Styracosaurus in the colorscheme of Old Buck from Dinosauria

Pachyrhinosaurus in the coloracheme of Scowler from the infamous Walking with Dinosaurs film

Medusaceratops in the colorscheme of the iridescent white lipped python

And Torosaurus in the colorscheme of the Walking With Dinosaurs depiction.

Shame my fave (Chasmosaurus in the Dino Riders colorscheme) didn't make it but all fantastic choices. Def gonna get Old Buck.
