2,000 away from Guanlong!

Also, surprised no ones talking about the Cyberzoic line. While it's a bit weird, I'm interested to see what comes from it, especially after David confirmed it's not going to replace BOTM (just be a separate line) and some single species people want for BOTM like Allosaurus and Kentrosaurus will show up.

That was my main concern, so now Im a lot happier. I would have been disappointed if the prehistoric creatures were just thrown out the way before they could do a, idk, ankylosaur line? maybe a carnosaur line, that would be really fun. titanosaurs? Imagine a 1/18th figure of that lol. Good to know its separate.

Yeah, apparently his exact words are he's getting a bit tired of focusing all in on one family of animals and wants to stretch his creative muscles with single species/some less realistic options before he does another line.

And yes, sauropod line is what I'm anxiously waiting and hoping for.

Thats totally fair.
Anyway, so apparently the kickstarter wont charge me instantly. Didnt realize that, so thats convenient. Anyway, I decided "fuck it" and pledged $270 so I could get both kickstarter exclusives. This is punishment for myself for passing on the monoclonius.

Just got myself a regular big rex and juvenile. I’m not a fan of the KS exclusive colors tbh.

That’s my spending limit, I’d love to get more but I’m not spending that much. Maybe when the line releases later down the line for retail I’ll pick up a few more. Maybe a Moros or something

I got the WWD Rex, Guanlong, the postcards, and the Dino Rider Rex print (not a fan of the colors like GTTF and can't afford a big Rex rn, so it's a good middle ground, especially cause it's gorgeous)

Dilong and Lythronax are also on my list but I'm waiting for them to be unlocked and probably will wait for their wave release lol.

Also, we're 11,000 away from Yutyrannus! The Kickstarter has only been open for a day and we have 3/4 of the initial stretch goals funded. This is gonna be INSANE.

And now we are 5,000 away from Dilong, with Dryptosaurus, Teratophoneus and Bistahieversor as the next stretch goals after that gets unlocked.

4 SG’s down, 14 to go.

In less than 3 days and we’re almost at the total funding of the ceratopsians.

I would guess that we get everything funded, assuming it doesnt run out of steam too quickly. It is Tyrannosaurs we are talking about, so Im sure its exciting for a lot of people.

I dont think he is doing the series model anymore. I think he said he didnt like being restricted to a certain group. A mosasaur would be fun, especially in 1/18th scale lol. Just think about that.

Apparently, he's interested in doing formations.

So like a Hell Creek Formation line with T. Rex, Triceratops, Archeroraptor, Edmontosaurus, and Ankylosaurus, then a Morrison Formation line with Dryosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Apatosaurus, then a Western Interior Sea line with mosasaurs and so on.

I think it would be a good alternative, though first it'll just be the one offs in Cyberzoic.

That makes a lot of sense. They should totally do a tie in with Saurian for the Hell Creek line.
Still not super happy with the Cyberzoic but ultimately he should be able to work on what he wants.

That would be rad af.

And yeah, Cyberzoic would disappoint me if it weren't for 1. As I mentioned, it's not replacing BOTM and 2. David just confirmed with the exception of fictional creatures like the dragons and the armor, all the dinosaurs in Cyberzoic will still be scientifcally accurate (he even fully intends for the armor to he usable with BOTM figures)

Hell creek line seems redundant based on the fact we already have its most famous species as figures. We have nothing from the Morrison formation yet so that would work

Yeah, no, those were just examples I had, not confirmed ones he'd do. I'd only be ok with that if he like did some repaints I guess.
