Looks pretty good. It looks and feels a lot like Shin Gojira, so I wonder if it will feel too similar to that film. Either way, excited to introduce myself to the world of Ultraman!

So there's an artbook that's coming out soon and this preview page shows that Ultraman's design was almost MUCH more detailed. I... don't know how to feel about it.

McDonald's is doing a marketing tie-in with this movie, and seemingly because Ultraman Jack has also been referred to as 'Shin' they're doing both Shin Ultraman and Return of Ultraman products and ads!

... I wonder if this is because the movie has tightly guarded its plot and imagery that they're supplementing Return of Ultraman into their campaign?

I've also heard that RoU is Anno's favorite Ultraseries, so perhaps the movie ties into that series is some way that hasn't been advertised.

^From what I hear, a ton of older fans aren't keen on having the Ultra featured in RoU being referred to as Ultraman Jack. I'm not against it, but makes me wonder if Anno himself is part of that crowd.
